Boring?

Not a very exciting day today.

I played Gameboy and talked to Tim and some of the other guys in PE during the prep period. Er...it's kind of funny how I only hang out with guys in my PE class. O_o; It's not like I consider them good friends (or even friends at all, really? Tim's fun to talk to, though, especially 'cause he lived in Japan for years.) or anything, either--they just have interests closer to mine (*cough*anime*cough*), so they're better for having conversations with than the rather boring, typical teenage girls in that class. The girls' conversations are oh-so-predictable "Blah blah blah--my boyfriend--blah blah makeup! blah blah my bra blah cute shirt!, etc." More and more, I'm growing to resent the way most teenagers view "love". It's so...not love, in the vast majority of cases. Makes me mad for some reason.

In Art, I mostly talked to Makayla, Zoe, and Kathryn. Mostly about Brokeback Mountain. XD We even talked Zoe into wanting to come, so hopefully we can do that this weekend. We also talked about CAP Alert and some rather strange things... Namely, Death Note's plot turning into Brokeback Mountain. WTF? That would make no sense at all. XD; I worked on my drawing, but it's still not done. :/ I haven't done several projects now, and I feel like I'm falling behind.

In PE again, I thought we were going to play badminton all period. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken. Mr. Humphers had us do this really stupid thing where we would line up on a line and run to these cones repeatedly to some beeps. It was sort of an endurance test--the beeps would speed up (giving you less time to get from line to cone and vice-versa), and you had to drop out if you didn't make it to the line or cone before the next beep came. Even though I was utterly unmotivated, I somehow ended up in third place among the girls. WTF? I actually could have done better, but I didn't care enough. XD We played badminton for the rest of the period, though I sucked today. I'm not sure why.

Mom picked me up after that, and we went to a meeting at the hospital. I went to the cafeteria and got some salad, and spent the rest of the meeting playing Gameboy in the truck.

Oh, by the way--we're almost completely sure we're getting the house now! It's so exciting. We're going to have to start packing right away, because we might even be moved in by the end of the month. :O Craziness.

Mom dropped me off at home before she picked up Ryan, and apparently I was really tired, because after one episode of Law & Order, I went to bed and slept 'til 7:30 PM. I have a feeling I'm going to have some trouble getting to sleep tonight. That's okay--I can use the time to think (and/or play Gameboy).

Well...again, I'm on the verge of writing something meaningful in here, but again, I just don't have the motivation or the intensity to really want to do it. So I won't.

The guinea pigs are out, so I think I'm going to go play with them for a little while.

*agrees with Kristin-chan and the two previous commenters*

By the way, I've heard that emails to me have been bouncing, so it you've sent me anything within the past few days, I didn't get it. ;_; LJ comments still get through, though.

How far away is your new house going to be from your old? I assume you're staying in Nevada County? (I'll need a new address! XD)

No kidding. *Rolls eyes* I have trouble understanding how people can be so "close" to each other ("dating", or whatever), and yet hardly know the person at all. It disgusts me.

Yeah, I noticed. I only sent one e-mail in that time period, so I'll just re-send it now. It wasn't important or anything, though. XD

My new house is a little further from town, but not too much. It's about a twenty minute drive to my school, as opposed to about an eighteen-minute one. ^^; It's in a smaller part of Grass Valley called Penn Valley, which is known for being a sort of agricultural center. Lots of animals. :D I'll give you a new address once I know it. XD;;
