I didn't write yesterday because I was busy after school.

While I can't remember much of what happened during school (it must not have been that interesting), after school we had our first meeting of the Anime Club this year. It was a laid-back meeting, because it was the first meeting and not many people could make it. Both Nicole and Cody had rehearsal for a play, so I was left with about twenty of my friends who could come.

We watched the first two episodes of Cowboy Bebop. Naturally, I've seen those more times than probably everyone in the whole club put together, but it's *such* an excellent series. I don't think it'll ever get old. Somehow, it manages to surpass how good I thought it was previously every time I see it. It seems to get better and better each time.

Then, we went down to Roseville shopping. I pre-ordered the Limited Edition of the English Wolf's Rain manga Vol. 1 at Borders, bought Wolf's Rain Vol. 3 at Best Buy (though I'm going to have to contact Bandai--it's missing the interview with the director), and, on an entirely random note, I bought Hellsing OST 2. I don't even have OST 1, but for $10, I just couldn't pass it up. It's great, mood-setting music, and I'm excited to listen to it more. I must say, I'm impressed. I need the get the first OST now...

I need to snoop around for more money for the convention coming up next weekend... I'm down to only $45, and I want at least $60 to spend.

Today was a good day, even though I was exhausted when I woke up. It was a minimum day (with a Powderpuff Football game at the end of the day--more on that later). I wore my fancy orange neko ears to school, so that consequently caused several compliments from people I don't know.

Nicole and I went and listened to the choir before school, as usual, and then in Creative Writing, I listened to people reading their dialogues. Rae and I read ours yesterday. It went over okay... Mrs. McD liked it. I took a test in US History, and watched a really, really bizarre video on skeletons in Anatomy.

TA period was amusing today, because we were supposed to fill balloons with helium and then tie them to color-coordinated string. However, we kept accidentally letting go of the balloons, so they kept scraping along the ceiling and traversing around the room, as if they were taunting our every move. I was too short to snatch the balloons off the ceiling even on a chair (and I'm 5'7"), and I had to enlist the help of the boys to capture the escaped balloons.

Oh, I forgot to mention-- in Anatomy, Erin showed up in a nifty, shiny toga and a leaf crown. Very cool. It was Senior Toga day, you see. She was allergic to the leaves on her crown, though, so she insisted I take her crown and wear it. I stuffed it in my desk, with every intent of wearing it--but then we sat on the counter during the movie, so I forgot the crown in the desk. Someone in one of Mr. Larsen's classes is going to be confused.

Trigonometry was normal as it always is, and in English we took a "test" on Thoreau. By test, I mean that we simply had to write a page analyzing one of his quotes. Not too hard.

Yesterday was great in English. Mr. Cartan released us to wander around the campus (and beyond), as we wished. This was our "nature walk". Kelsey and I (mind you, not the same Kelsey I torment in my Creative Writing class. This Kelsey is actually my friend and is perfectly tolerable in a way that doesn't involve scaring her by talking about violent anime deaths) went to the outskirts of the school and found a big field of knee-high grass to run around in. We found some dog and deer tracks, and were so busy analyzing those animal prints that we had to sprint in order to get back to class before school ended.

After school, we were supposed to go watch the Powderpuff football, but my friends and I decided that watching girls play football simply wasn't something we were interested in. So we snuck around the campus (you weren't supposed to be anywhere except the football game unless you had a off-campus permit), and ended up watching John read webcomics in the choir room. My Mom picked me up late, and I watched Pokémon at home until Dad picked me up.

That's about it.

Oh, and I need to call Makayla... She should come over. And maybe Cody, too. Not Nicole--she's at her Dad's house this weekend. Hmmm. I want to watch some RahXephon tonight. I've been watching the first two episodes repeatedly out of paranoia about missing something. I think I'll watch those two again, and then move on the the third episode. Wow, this is going to take me a long time to finish, isn't it? n_n It's fun that way.

And I need to fix my tail before the convention! Eep! *Scramble* Hopefully Mom will be able to fix that button... I can't imagine my Pikachu costume without the tail. ;_;

Speaking of cosplay, I'd better start designing my Kumagorou costume so I can get hunting. This Nittle Grasper-theme cosplay will be so much fun!
