Gunslinger Girl
Dec. 27th, 2005 01:31 pmI just finished Gunslinger Girl, and...augh... It was a great series. T_T Really sad--I even felt teary at a few parts, even though it wasn't quite to the point of my eyes were filling up. Gah. It's definitely well worth seeing--it's a really...I don't know how to put it. It's depressing, but it's depressing in a different sense than your normal anime. Wah. ;_; I liked the way the ending was executed, even if I feel it didn't have enough closure for me.
Several people had said it was really good and sad (despite the corny-sounding title) before I watched it, so I was expecting it to be well-told, but it had more gravity and was more realistic than I thought it would be. They really did act their ages somehow, and watching their connections with their Fratello was heartbreaking. The scenarios surrounding all the characters were just so...I don't know, such tragedies, I guess.
Anyway...um...yeah. I'm kinda sad now.
