Woo...nothingness!

Today I woke up and discovered my throat is out of commission (I can barely talk, and it's been sore on and off), and I've been coughing a little, too. Oddly, though, I feel great. O_o; Really relaxed and mentally stable. I've spent all day doing things to make this sickness pass quickly--like eating miso soup and a bunch of good-for-sickness food, resting, and such.

I watched Law and Order for a while, and then spent practically the entire rest of the day in bed reading Plainsong, which I finished. More than 250 pages in one sitting. :O Go me. It was a good book.

Anyway, um...I'm rather confused as to why I feel so awesome when I'm apparently sick, but I definitely don't mind. XD There was a lovely thunderstorm today, and it's still raining a little bit. :D

It's gotta be the thunder storm and the fact that you read through it. There's no better way to spend a rainy day than in bed, reading, prefferably with a cup of tea!!

I figured. XD Ohh, I had several cups of tea. And hot chocolate. 'Twas quite wonderful. My throat feels a lot better now, though my talking is still *slightly* handicapped.

Oh, would you mind sending the beta-ed 'fic when you get some time? It turns out I *can* submit it all fixed up if I wish. :D
