Crispin Freeman does Ebisu's voice?! HA, that's funny. XD;; The one voice I actually *liked*.
I'm sad that my fandom is suffering. ;_; I wish it wasn't... I loved the way it was, and wish it could stay that way forever.
Anyway, though. Ahhh, today was so much fun! KK and I went to bed at about 12:30 last night, or maybe 1... That's remarkably early for us. x.x We tend to stay up really late fangirling together, but both of us were tired, so we went to bed at a reasonable hour for once. :P Woke up at about 9:30, and...um...ate ramen, and...did stuff. I don't really remember.
At about 1:30 PM, KK and I left and walked downtown so she could go to the Independence Day parade (Chamber Choir was singing in it). Because I didn't want to show up at Cody's house when he could potentially be there, KK and I went to Mekka, and she treated me to a coconut slushie. :D Yay, luff! ♥ While there, we met up with Makayla's younger brother Jamison, who was folding paper shuriken.
Tell me if this is a brilliant idea--we're thinking of having Jamison and Ricky fold a TON of paper shuriken, and holding a mass-scale ninja raid at school in honor of Naruto's birthday on October 10th.
So...we talked about Hikaru no Go for a little while, KK headed off to meet up with the rest of the choir, and I went to Cody's. When I arrived, it was still quite a while 'til Cody and most of the guests would show up, so I helped Cody's mom prepare food and such for about an hour. :) Eventually, people started showing up, as did Cody.
It wasn't really a *surprise*, because it wasn't as well-organized as last year as far as keeping it a secret goes, but he was obviously happy anyway. The party was wonderful--it went from about 2 PM to around 8:30 PM, and we just had a great time.
Did the usual antics--many people got in his hot tub (myself not included, though I was hugged by people coming out of the hot tub and was therefore quite wet), we dressed Cody and Chris and a few of the other guys up like they were gay and took lots of pictures and squeed (Cody wore the Ryuichi shirt! ♥), there was much AMV watching, eating, video games, goofing around, cuddling, wrestling, running around the house, playing with balloons, KK and I plotting to take over the world... You get the idea.
So, yeah. It was LOTS of fun. I wish I could've spent the night--and I would've, if it wasn't a school night and I know I wouldn't get a lot of sleep. I love Cody. ♥ I have to get him a present... I decided I wanted to not get him anything initially, and by doing that I can get him something he really wants in a few days, when he picks something out. ^_^ I figure it's better to get someone a belated gift that is exactly what they want, instead of getting them some silly little gift right there.
I'm kind of tired, and I feel like I've been neglecting my duties, but that's okay because I got to spend a lot of time with my friends. That's more valuable to me anyway.
...Meh...I feel uninspired, too. This entry seems broken up. I don't really care.
Hitchi, sorry I didn't call you. ;_; I wanted to, but I never really got a chance this weekend. I was so busy I didn't even get to do any of the important things I needed to do, like register for the SATs, do my homework, and other such things that seem somewhat insignificant right now.

Date: 2005-09-12 10:54 pm (UTC)I'm anticipating Sasuke's voice.
I assume I'm going to piss in my pants laughing, because I almost did with Naruto's voice.
