Well, we have a substitute who is not watching the class, so I'm free to write in here if I wish. ^^;; We're supposed to be doing a business simulation online, but...meh... I already did it once and I don't feel like doing it again. :P There's no way for Mr. Bothun to know I didn't do it (nothing is recorded or anything), so I'm just going to write here for a while.

I'm really excited about the Tahoe trip! It's going to be so much fun. :D The group of Mom, Ryan, Tanner (*hides*), Cody, and myself is leaving this evening for Tahoe, and then Nicole and KK are going to join us on either Saturday or Sunday. I love it at our place in Tahoe, and I love spending time with my friends, so I just know it's going to be awesome.

...Though I am very afraid of Tanner being there. o_o For those who don't know, Tanner is my little brother's most annoying, bizarre, and well...I can't emphasize enough just how annoying he is, so I'm just going to say 'annoying' again. At least Tanner's mom is coming up on Saturday, so hopefully she can curb his behavior. Somewhat, at least. I don't think there's anything in the world that can make him seem like a semi-normal kid...

Oh well--my friends and I can find things to do so we're as far away from Tanner as possible. :P

Again, otaku are taking over the school! Guess what the first thing I saw this morning when I got to school was?

A *ton* of chalk anime drawings on the grounds and on the walls of the school. Mostly done by friends of mine and members of the anime club. There was a transmutation circle from FMA with pinecones in the middle of it, a big picture of Ed on the ground, several random anime-people next to Ed, and on the wall next to the choir room, two ninjas who look a lot like Kotetsu and Izumo, in sort of ANBU-ish outfits--drawn by Kathryn. It makes me happy. :D

...Although I *do* wish anime was still more underground. It's so...mainstreamed now. Kind of bothers me. Anyway. My friends did these drawings, so that has nothing to do with anything, really. Just a random observation.

I had a lot of fun during my TA period drawing. I've been able to sort of...free myself more as an artist lately. This doesn't make me any better of an artist (at least, not in the short run), but it allows me to swallow my pride and take more risks, which I figure is definitely a good thing. I was drawing lots of angry wolves and Umbreons and foxes and things, which is funny because I was/am in a great mood.

It's bizarre how my drawings and writings usually contradict the mood I'm actually in when I create them. :P

I was trying to write SasuNaru-related drabbles last night right before bed, but it really, really wasn't working. Weird, because I was inspired. I just couldn't organize my thoughts enough to accomplish what I was trying to accomplish. Of course, it would've helped if I had known what exactly I wanted to accomplish.

I need to do a poetry post sometime. I just found some nature/nostalgia related poetry I've done throughout the last year or so, and I'd like to post it. I just have to remember to drag it all out of my notebooks. I have too many notebooks. Seriously.

Well, I'm just rambling now. I'd better be off. Not sure if I'll get a chance to post again before Tahoe, so...um...yeah. That's all. ^^;
