I hope the summer continues to be not-so-boring (although it's bound to have its moments...). :)

After dropping Ryan off at Tanner's, Mom and I spent most of the day down in Roseville, which was very nice indeed. On the drive down, I ranted about Christianity and aliens to my Mom...which happens every time we end up on a long car ride together, or at dinner. I don't know why. It always starts out at Christianity, somehow ends up on a long tangent about aliens, and then goes back to Christianity. XD;;

We went and ate lunch at Fresh Choice (mmm... *Drools*), and then spent about an hour in Borders. This was a different Borders than the one I normally frequent, though, and it had SO much anime stuff. *_* It made me happy. I ended up only getting a Newtype and a new sketchpad, but it was still fun stalking around in the anime aisles, acting as though I owned the place. XD I found two other random otaku who I briefly conversed with. By briefly, I do mean briefly. As in, I asked them if they were going to AX, they said "Maybe" and that was pretty much it. They seemed to be in a hurry, so I didn't pester them further. I was tempted, though.

I even got Mom to look at the Spirited Away artbook with me in great depth on the couches near the café. XD This took about a half-hour, but she was fascinated. Even to the point where she was wondering if she should watch the movie again. She said she might watch more anime with me before AX so she can be a well-versed volunteer there. ^^;; I don't know if she'll actually go through with watching it like she said she would, but we'll see.

Next, we went to PetsMart, which was fun because of the animals: a smart/sweet baby mackaw, dwarf hamsters, kittens, and the second biggest Great Dane puppy I've ever seen. The only reason it's not the first biggest is that the biggest Great Dane in the entire world lives in my community, and I've met him on multiple occasions. He seriously has the world record. O_O

After this, it was on to Best Buy. I love Best Buy. I go practically live in the anime aisle until someone extracts me. Actually, though, we had to pick up Need For Speed Underground 2 for Ryan, because his got stolen at school. ._. $50. At least he paid for it to be replaced.

Anyway, while we were there, I by chance began to browse the portable DVD players. I couldn't help but notice one of them was only $116...and that got the gears in my head going. So, um...Dad's probably going to pay half of it and pick it up tomorrow. :D I figure this will come in endlessly handy for the ride down to AX. It'll play AMVs, too, so I'll have much fun with it. Now I can watch EVEN MORE anime than I normally do.

...There is no way this is healthy. XD But that's okay.

Once we got back home, we spent the rest of the day watching TV shows about animals. We watched this really interesting documentary, I think it was called "When Animals Speak" or something, on Animal Planet. It was so cool. *_*

That was my day. I'm not going to expand, because that would just make it more boring.

I predict boredom tomorrow... Mom's supposedly working dayshift tomorrow. ._.; I wonder if anyone could come over...
