pacificpikachuToday was somewhat boring for a while, but watching a lot of Naruto perked me up. XD
Dad was being weird about me being on the computer again (*sigh*) and the three of us (Dad, Ryan, and I) couldn't decide what we wanted to do. So, until we decided what to do, we went to Ben Franklin to get some stuff together to paint my Kumagorou nose so it looks more like a Kumagorou nose.
We pretty much just went home after that, and I started painting the nose... It looks pretty good, but I seriously need to get some black fabric or something to put behind the nostrils. @_@ Dad and Ryan decided to go swimming at the gym, but I stayed behind and started burning CDs. I soon realized I had too much music to put on one CD, but too little to make two, so I went on a downloading spree. Soon I had too much music to put on three CDs, so I downloaded even more so I could make four. ^^; The CDs have a lot of different stuff on them--a lot of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Earth Girl Arjuna, Escaflowne, .hack//sign and Liminality, and bunches of just...stuff. J-pop, J-rock, random series, etc.
After that, we drove up to Scott's Flat Lake and Dad and Ryan took the temperature of it to see if it was warm enough to swim in yet. They decided it wasn't quite warm enough yet. When we were finished looking at the renovations made to the beaches (I don't like the renovations ><), we went by SPD for some shopping. I stayed in the car and listened to music. ^^;;
Then we went back home, where Ryan and I started watching Naruto. We thought we would only watch a few (as we normally think, incorrectly XD), and ended up watching 120-128.
First off, episode...what was it...124, maybe? With Lee drunk? That was awesome/hysterical. Hahahaha. Lee + Sake = LOOK OUT! Now I understand the line in GO!!! where it says "Right here, right now *Boom* You punch like a drunken rider!" I always thought that was just entirely random engrish. XD
Ryan and I started cheering like crazy when the sand-nins showed up and saved the day. XD We cheered for quite a while over that. I love Temari and Gaara's new outfits! I wish Kankurou had changed something in his outfit other than his facepaint... Lee and Gaara vs. Kimimaro was great. O_O
I loved the little cameo of Zabuza and Haku in Kimimaro's past. T_T
Gosh, I love the creative intertwining of all the characters in Naruto... How they seem so different, and yet it turns out, they all have a deep, common, human thread that binds them: the need for love. It's just so incredibly done, this series.
There were a lot of beautiful, artistically done things that happened in the show lately (and I'm not just talking about the animation here, though that has definitely jumped up a notch). That scene with Naruto in the dark cave, and how the firefly-like likes went into his past...that was beautiful. There were tons of those moments, but I can't remember them all right now.
Okay, I'm sorry--and it was a very emotional moment--but that whole thing in 128 with Naruto sitting on Sasuke for so long...I kept thinking "OMGtheshounen-ai!11oneoneeleven!" Poor Naruto. Sasuke's even worse and more evil than I thought he would be. >< WAHHHH. T_T I want to watch further, but Ryan doesn't want to watch any more right now.
I'm falling more and more in love with the bond between Naruto and Sasuke, and I'm not just talking the pairing/possible romance-ish thing, either. I mean, just the way the show has used the bond between them has been so excellent... *_* Whether it be in just a platonic way, or a non-platonic way, it's just so charged with emotion.
Anyway, that's all I'm going to say for now.
During Naruto, KK called and said she indeed does get to come to Fanime with us. YAYYYY! This is going to be so much fun. I'm excited. -^^- I was dreaming about my costume being absolutely perfect last night. ^^;; There was more to the dream, but unfortunately, I'm forgetting the rest of it.
Better be going! It's almost time for bed.
Hitchi, I didn't find the time to write/burn you stuff again. ;_; I got too carried away with CD burning and watching Naruto. I didn't find the time to do most of the things I intended to do today, actually. XD
