I had some sort of a dream about hiking on a very green trail (kind of like the Independence Trail, for anyone who actually lives in the area :p), and I came across a Steve Conte concert randomly (though I never saw him, nor was he singing anything, somehow)...and...uh...it was under a weird canopy-like overhang. That's just about all I remember.

Everyone (myself included) was exhausted today. -_-; While wandering around school, that's pretty much all I heard. "I'm sooo sleepy..." "I didn't get enough sleep last night", etc.

Of course, I was up about an hour past my bedtime last night finishing Ender's Game, so I had some reason to be tired.

Speaking of which--OMG...the ending of Ender's Game...! Wow, that was such an absolutely incredible book. I think it's up there with my favorite books I've ever read (though it doesn't defeat Watership Down or The Last Unicorn, which are essential undefeatable). That's still saying a LOT. I got all dazzly at the end. *_* OMG. If you haven't read it, do. Go. Now. Go read it. I'm serious. :3 Go on.

Once I finished Ender's Game, I had to take a little while to shut my mind down, and then I couldn't fall asleep because my darn foot started twitching for no reason. >< Baka. I probably fell asleep by 11 PM, though.

Again, not a great deal happened today. :p

I got up, went to school, listened to Chamber Choir, talked to my friends, did nothing in Creative Writing (I brushed off the assignment), did nothing in USHistory, did nothing in Anatomy, nothing in my TA period, nothing at lunch, nothing much in Trig, and wrote a little mini-essay on Ender's Game in English.

Woo...excitingness.

After school, things got slightly more interesting...but not really. Dad picked me up, and we went home and called the hospital to see how Mom was doing. She's okay, but she was sleeping when I called. After Dad and I picked Ryan up from school, we went to Raley's and bought her some flowers, a border collie card, and a People magazine (because she actually enjoys those types of magazines). We visited her, and she's doing okay. We talked to her for about twenty minutes, but she was kind of groggy.

I still forget what the procedure is called... I guess I'm just not going to bring up what it is. It's kind of personal anyway (not really, but...), and it's not a big deal at all. She'll be back home from the hospital on Friday, so she'll be stuck in the hospital room 'til then. It's okay, though--they're letting her stay in the unit she works in, and her co-workers are taking care of her. She was talking about how weird it is to be the patient instead of the nurse. XD

Anyway~ after we went to the hospital, we dropped by her house to grab Ryan's DVD player (I snatched it for Anime Club tomorrow) and check on my doves and the chickens. The three doves are fine, and the chickens were being even funnier than usual. The Salula and Torchic puffed up and were fighting each other and it looked hilarious--like black and white earswabs in combat. XDDD;; They're both teensy little hens who are fluffy and small, and The Salula is white, while Torchic is black. Also, Silver (for some odd reason), decided to lay an egg on the groud instead on in the nesting boxes, so all the other chickens rushed over and ate the egg just as she laid it. XD Weirdos.

And...that's pretty much it. I need to call KK and Selah. Ja ne!
