Today has been such a weird day. >< I can't say it's been a bad day, because it hasn't, but I feel like it was a bad day and I'm all gloomy and irritable right now. Can't say why, really.

I got up in the morning, gathered my DVDs and VCDs for Anime Club today, put my Naruto headband around my neck, and drew whiskers on my face with a marker, and then skipped off to get in the car and listen to music.

When I got in the car, I decided I should probably go uncover the doves, so I went down to the chicken coop and armed myself with a little plate in defense against my rooster, Yami. Well, Yami got me anyway, and in fact I think the plate made him even more angry. He charge-bit my hand. (Read: Where he runs up and bite-pecks with high impact. It hurts like hell and causes a bruise and a cut. ><)

I didn't think it much of a big deal (though it stung a little), but when I got up to the house I looked at my hand and realized it was bleeding all over everywhere. :O I went inside and mopped the blood off my hand and stuck a band-aid on it, but my hand has been stiff and a little swollen all day. For some reason this made me feel weird, like I disabled or something. I don't know why, but it was strange. ><

When I got to Creative Writing, only about six people where in class because of the standardized testing (Seniors are allowed to skip the day to "work on Senior Project", which emptied many of my classes.) Mrs. McDaniel had us write a paragraph about how a murderer would see a pond, but you have to imply the person is a murderer without saying it, and by just describing the pond. O_o; A very random project, but I'm good at those sorts of things. Mrs. McDaniel bought us all donuts. ^_^

USHistory...*Yawn* Worked on math homework. Because we had about two hours of testing in our second period classes, I had WAY too much of USHistory for one day. ._.;

In Anatomy...I talked to Melissa about...something. I forget what. The short periods made it hard for the teachers to do anything in class.

The standardized test was really boring. -_-; There were a few weird parts, too. There was one part where they would have a sentence, and one of the words would be changed to "gliff" and you'd have to a pick a word to replace the "gliff" with. WTF? O.o;

There was also a story about a guy who smiled at raccoons and made them fall out of trees, and at the end of the story he grins the bark of a tree. WTFx10?! I have no idea what purpose this story accomplished, or what it had to do with anything.

We had a lunch break in the middle of the testing, so I went to the art room with some of my friends. It was hilarious--Makayla and Ciera did a double-cosplay today, just for the fun of it. They were both minus the necessary wigs, but they were complete costumes otherwise. XD Makayla was Tohma, and Ciera was K-san (complete with suit and tie! XD). It was brilliant and wonderful. They even started calling each other by their character names and everything.

Someone is making this chair...person...thing out of some sort of metal and string, so Kathryn was having WAYYY too much fun sitting in it and making sound effects like she was piloting a giant robot or something. XD

Then it was back to testing. >< The class (myself included, of course) finished the test really, really early, which left us with an hour to waste. Well, I had my AMVs and some anime with me, and I am kind of teacher's pet, so I asked Mr. Ostrom if I could test the AMVs on his DVD player. Unfortunately, they didn't work. ;_; Apparently, none of the school DVD players play VCDs. There was nothing else to do, though, so I stuck Last Exile in the DVD player and watched the first episode. I was hoping the class would show at least a little interest, but they didn't. It was a little awkward with me being the only one watching it (while everyone else talked and talked and talked...), but...meh...whatever. Of all my classes, I think my USHistory class is the least open-minded and appreciative of art. ><

My TA period was uneventful...I counted ice cream and...well, that's all I did.

Didn't do much in Trig, and in English we had an impossible-to-finish-under-the-time-constraints worksheet on Ender's Game. During Trig, the plastic bag that had my DVDs/VCDs/Naruto DVD case/sketchpad in it got several HUGE gaping holes in it, so I ditched the bag and tried to carry it all in my arms. Unfortunately, partly due to the rooster-bitten hand, I kept dropping the VCDs all over the place and breaking the cases. Ugh, I felt so pathetic.

Anime Club was just fine. More people came this time, and we watched the Naruto vs. Neji match, just for the fun of it. ^_^ We had some troubles with the bakana DVD player in Mr. Davis' room, but everyone in the club loves Naruto, so it was all good. We were all buzzing with Naruto-talk. I got everyone all jazzed up about Fanime and cosplay, too, so now I think a bunch of them are thinking about going.

Makayla, Ciera, and I walked up towards where Mom was to pick me up, and Ciera found a plastic bag in her Mom's car so I didn't have to drop anything any more. Mom gave Makayla a ride home (after we had a discussion about my open-mindedness for Naruto 'ships), we picked Tia up at the vet's (she had her teeth cleaned), and we went home.

I've been kind of moping and sitting around aimlessly ever since.

I have an Anatomy test I know I'm going to fail tomorrow, so I'd better go try to study (even though I'm stupid and don't have my Anatomy book with me ;_;)... Ja ne. I hope I feel better tomorrow, because today I've been kind of depressed, and not for any real reason either.
