Hitchi and I are currently chatting on AIM. She's probably going to call me soon. ^_^
Anyway, um...not much happened today. I feel guilty when I don't write in my LiveJournal, so I figure I'll log anyway. I usually remember things as I'm writing, too.
When Dad and I were in the car on the way to school, Dad started going on about how the golden cloud in the sky (the sun was just rising, hence the pretty cloud) was a fake and that the aliens were hiding behind it in their UFOs. Riiight Dad. As you can see, insanity runs in the family. When I got out of the car, the last thing he said to me was "If I don't see you again, be nice to the aliens." Okay... O_o; Like I said, it runs in the family.
In Creative Writing, I mainly just caught up on some assignments I procrastinated on. I wrote about the tastes of five different foods (Pocky, naturally, being on of them) and about the smell of morning. Morning wasn't on the list of things we could write about for smells, but I never follow the prompt for anything anyway. Rae kept trying to get me to read her stories, but I really needed to catch up on the assignments so I didn't read them 'til the end of the period. Even then, I didn't finish.
In US History, there were more presentations (I played Gameboy in a way that made it appear I wasn't playing Gameboy while those were going on) and then we had to read out of our history books. Mr. Ostrom also had us picking random words out of the textbook and we're going to do some sort of project with the random words tomorrow. I picked words that I thought sounded poetic. Most of them are rather dreary, though.
Anatomy, um... Erin wasn't there again. We looked at more notes on muscle fatigue. Melissa and I spent at least half of the period talking about wild animals we've seen. We both want to see a mountain lion. The most I've ever seen of a mountain lion was a tail and hindquarters going into the bushes on the way to Edward's Crossing, with Nicole and her Mom and our brothers. That was a little anticlimactic, however, because all we saw was its butt, basically. I want to see more of a mountain lion than that.
TA period was dull/chaotic. Rory wasn't there, so I was working the register, and it was really busy. I restocked for the rest of the period. -_-
Lunch...um... Oh yeah, Erik and I talked about Cowboy Bebop and The Great Gatsby and their similarities, and I was explaining to him some of the deep mysteries of the show. I think we were talking about FMA for a little while after that, but now I can't remember. Nick was trying to beg some food off of me, but I insisted it was for Cody, and then Cody came and didn't want it. >.< I still didn't give it to Nick, though. I gave it to...Jessie, was it?
Trig was slightly more comprehensible than it has been, but only a little bit.
In English, Mr. Cartan had a lovely 190 question test on Gatsby ready for us. It wasn't as bad as it sounds, though. It was actually amusing. Only in Mr. Cartan's class will you walk in during a test, and half of the class is giggling at the questions. One of the questions was "What is Jay Gatsby's real name?" The options were: A. Mr. Cartan, B. Mr. Cartan, C. Mr. Cartan, D. James Gatz. XD He also put comic strips in it, and weird answers to some of the questions. "Why did Myrtle run into the road?" A. To meet who she thought was Tom. (Right answer), B. To get away from George, C. Because she liked Gatsby's car. D. To join the Highway Patrol, E. To widen the menu at the "Roadkill Café".
The rest of today? I've been playing my Gameboy like a madwoman. XD After school, I was waiting for my Mom (they locked the middle room, causing a great uproar among the people who normally hang out in there) and playing my Gameboy randomly while walking around the school.
Then I got home and played Gameboy some more, and took a shower and played Gameboy more, and now I'm hopefully going to talk to Hitchi and then watch Naruto. (I already did my Math homework, though I need to study a little for Anatomy.)
Ja ne!
