I'm in a good mood. There were a bunch of unintentional anime references in my life today. ^_^

I woke up this morning before my alarm clock went off, and then proceeded to lay in bed waiting for it to go off. It took it a long time. ._.;

In the car, I started singing along to Inuyasha theme songs and ending themes, but my voice kind of died after My Will and therefore I quit during Owarinai Yume and Grip!. By the time Grip! was about three-quarters through, I arrived at school. I was on time as usual with my Mom, but not early enough to listen to the choir. ;_; Why does my Mom have to be such a late sleeper?

Anyway, then I went to Creative Writing after holding brief conversations with Nicole and Cody. Creative Writing was fun... *Snicker* I'm really excited, because a Japanese Exchange Student named Yurina (I'm pretty sure...I was half-asleep when we were talking) transferred into our class for the next semester, and she sits right next to me. ^_^ She likes anime and a lot of the same Japanese singers and bands as me, and we were talking about Naruto for a little while before class started. She said my Japanese sounds good. ^^

I asked Mrs. McDaniel if I could finish reading Feline Moonbeams to the class, but we were both a bit concerned about the subject matter (read the story if you're curious as to why XD). She thinks it's an excellent piece of writing, however, and said I could read it to the class tomorrow during the time normally reserved for novel-reading. I feel special to have time set aside just for me to read my twisted stories. XD

We did a funny little writing exercise where we could write down ANY six words we wanted to (my six words: "Sasuke" "Naruto" "Pacific" "Ookami" "Rain" and "Verdant") and make a poem out of them. Needless to say, my poem was a bit...odd... (Yurina started cracking up when she saw that I put Sasuke and Naruto on the list of words. ^_^) Same goes for the poem where we picked six phrases we liked to hear and six phrases we hated to hear. Weirdness. Rae made a great poem with the six words, as she picked the six longest words she could think of and somehow managed to combine them into a lovely, nonsensical poem.

James (who is Alyssa's boyfriend) was at the other table jabbering away when I heard the words "Cowboy Bebop" in there somewhere (with my excellent selective hearing). Turns out the ebil baka was ranting about Cowboy Bebop being "such a racist show!!11" ._.; Apparently, he's not as knowledgable as he thinks he is, though, as he was talking about how "derogatory" the three old men who always show up are (ironic--as they saved the city in the movie, and are generally loved by all Cowboy Bebop fans). Class was almost over at that point, so I didn't get to argue with him about it as much as I wanted to, though. If that didn't make me mad, I don't know what would, though. Thou shalt not DISS MY BEBOP!

At lunch Nicole made me feel better by telling me that Alyssa told her James is always borrowing Cowboy Bebop from Alyssa, and he just loves to pretend he doesn't like it. I can see how this would work, as James has always prided himself on his hatred of anime, and to like one would be something he would be unwilling to admit, I'm sure.

Anyway, at that point I went to US History. I was trying to make up some odd plan to let Mr. Ostrom allow me to use a computer on some pretext (the truth being that I had an Ebay auction for 119 episodes of Naruto going, and I did NOT want to lose it) when Mr. Ostrom announced we were doing projects on people in the 20's (I'm doing one on Picasso) and were going to the computer lab. What timing. ^_^ I finished my research pretty quickly and watched my auction (nothing happened), and then was looking up how much original Picasso paintings were going for on Ebay. I joked with Kelly and Becca about buying a few original Picasso paintings for my presentation on Friday. The class period ended a half hour before my auction ended, so I was left in suspense as to whether I would win the auction or not.

Anatomy was typical... Erin never showed up, so I talked about music with Melissa for quite a while when we were working on our worksheets. She was pretty surprised when I told her about half of my Japanese music isn't even in Japanese. :D

During my TA period, Rory and I worked the Student Store like always, and when our food-selling was done, I finally erased my reindeer picture from before Christmas from the whiteboard. All of the ladies that work at the Student Store love my drawings, so they suggested I draw a Valentine's Day drawing. Guess who I drew. No, not Gravitation characters... Tsume and Toboe! (Wolf form, of course, for easiness reasons and not-wanting-to-disturb-too-many-people reasons.) So there's currently a half-finished TsumexToboe cuddling drawing up in the Student Store. When the drawing was only about one-tenth done, one of the ladies asked me what the wolves would be doing, and I was SO close to saying 'he' for both of the wolves. "He's snuggling with him." XD;; I corrected myself, though, at the last minute.

At lunch, Nicole retreated under a counter in the middle room because she was absorbed in reading GTO, so I spent most of the time lingering around Cody, Rosie, and Erik. Erik brought up the FMA opening theme, and from that second on, I had Ready Steady Go hopelessly stuck in my head. I *still* have it stuck in my head. On our way to our math classes, I got it stuck in Nicole's head, too, so we were both humming it almost all day.

No homework in Trig! YAY! And Neil and I were discussing Naruto for half the period.

Seventh period was boring/disturbing. Mr. Cartan wasn't there (;_;), so we had a sub. We continued watching The Great Gatsby movie, and it's awful. It's like a soap-opera minus the funniness of how wacky they are. It has some of the cheesiest romance I've ever seen. I kept face-palming and thinking "OMFG...make it ENDDD." You have no idea how corny it was. The only thing that kept me minorly interested was the fact that if I closed my eyes, I could pretend it was the Unicorn from The Last Unicorn talking, because Mia Farrow did the Unicorn's voice, and in The Great Gatsby, she plays Daisy.

After that, I hung around school for a half-hour with Kirstin, John, and Erik discussing...stuff. I forget what. I know there was bunches about RPGs, zombie dwarves, FMA, and random stories John wants to write.

I got home after picking Ryan up and the first thing I did was check my Ebay auction.

OMG, I WON!!!

*Excited* I bought 119 episodes of Naruto, plus two specials and a movie special, plus ALL of the manga (on CD-Rs, but still...) for $12.50!

Anyway, I'm going to go now. Hopefully I can get Mom to watch some more AMVs with me tonight.
