Oct. 14th, 2012 01:44 amI'm still being rather online anti-social, so apologies for that! Gotta make an effort to catch up!
I'm post Elite Four in BW2 and having lots of fun! I dragged my rather battered PokéPark DS over from my other house so I could add my female Unfezant Persephone to my BW2 team. Always handy to have a team member who knows Fly. She has good IVs, and is EV trained, too! I'm excited to transfer over a ton of Pokémon from my Black version, probably my level 100s and shinies and legendaries (5 or more boxes worth? Haaa, that will be a project), at some point, but for now I'm just training my team, exploring, catching Pokémon, and having a grand old time. My team is in the mid-60s currently.
I caught Pokérus! Not as exciting as it would be, considering I've had Pokérus for years on Diamond and Platinum and Black, but it was still fun to catch it just by chance. Now, a random encounter shiny would be nice for once! The last actual random encounter shiny I had was Arbok back in Crystal. That was a long time ago. Not that I have any lack of shinies, but it's the surprise of a random encounter that's fun, you know?
I'm going to be working a lot this week, because my office co-worker is gone for the week. Also, the mail isn't letting up, and I'm doing the bulletin at the same time! I've been a little under the weather (as usual, I guess) so it'll be a slight challenge, but really the hardest part of work is just waking up and getting out of bed.
Obviously, I'm not at Yaoi-Con. This makes me very sad, but I do have Sac-Anime to look forward to in January. I've basically avoided thinking about Yaoi-Con and the fact that I'm not there because I don't want to be sad about things I can't do anything about.
I've had a slight, persistent stomachache and I was having fevers fairly recently, so mom and I are wondering if it could be appendicitis, but who knows. It's currently not severe enough to warrant a doctor's visit, though I'm being alert to any changes.
I have so many projects I want to do, and even just mundane things like getting caught up on LJ, watching more Best Wishes, and so on, but it's just a matter of finding the time and energy. At least Pokéscans is going well--I'm about to hit 500 watchers! Just gotta keep on scanning.
I'm still rather melancholy because I barely ever see my friends, though. I've got to make an effort to reach out to people, but it's hard for me because I spend so much of my time just feeling blah. Anyway, I have tomorrow off, so hopefully I can do some more scanning, maybe art or writing, definitely BW2, and hang out with the fowl. I might go up to Tahoe with mom and the dogs for the day, though, we'll see.
The weather is finally cool here, but it's supposed to warm up again. Uh, no, I think that it should be fall already. Officially. >(
I will be doing NaNoWriMo again this year, as usual, and I want to write about that, but not now.
Hope you're all doing well! You're all in my thoughts though I've been avoiding the computer in favor of my DS.
