pacificpikachuToday I called in sick to work due to having a fever and body aches and whatnot, and slept basically all day. I'm feeling a little better, but not great, and now I'm having cramps on tops of being sick. T A T I haven't been online much today. I'll probably go actually check my e-mail and whatnot tomorrow, tonight I just feel blah and don't want to deal with anything. ;; I'm going to drag myself to work tomorrow, but then head home as soon as I finish whatever needs to be done.
Sac-Con (which isn't properly a con, just a one-day show) was fairly fun, though it was a bit stressful. I was trying to sell Pokémon stuff there, but because I couldn't get a table, I wasn't very successful and I kept having to run back and forth to my car over and over again. Also, I picked up a chicken while I was there because she was being bullied severely by her flock, so her guardian decided to rehome her to me. They drove from a few hours away, hence why we met at the show instead of somewhere more convenient for me.
The show wouldn't let the poor chicken in and it was in the 90s out, so I ended up hiding her in a very shady, very sneaky spot under some bushes while I was there, with water and food of course. She did fine, but of course I worried about her and checked on her constantly. She's a really cute, sweet Sultan pullet.
I also went to a few stores while I was in the area. I picked up Lyra and Zecora, which I'm happy to have found! I also bought a Dewott Jakks plush and Trixie, then realized I already have both of them, orz. Anyone want to buy them for basically store price plus shipping?
I was so tired and could feel the sick creeping in on me the whole time at the show, but I don't regret going. I met some nice people there.
I also met a guy at my local gas station with a pretty silver bengal on a leash. She would even ride on his shoulder! Turns out she was a stray that he found. He lives just up the street from me, so I said he should come by sometime and maybe our bengals can play!
