Naturally, now that I have my paycheck I can't find my debit card or the thing I keep it in anywhere! This is driving me crazy. I think it's been gone a few days, but during that time period I didn't go many places, so I'm lost as to where it could be. My mom's house is messy so I guess it could be somewhere there, but I looked extensively in all of the places it would be likely to be, and I looked extensively in my currently not-messy car, too.

But no one has used it or anything, so I'm hoping it's just somewhere weird. I hope I can find it soon, it's frustrating losing something and not being able to find it anywhere that makes sense. It's always the thing I least want to lose, too, invariably!

Of course tomorrow is Sunday, so I can't even deposit it until Monday now, and that'll be difficult because I work Monday and Tuesday and I work the same hours as my bank is open.

Aaahhh, universe, can't you be nice to me for once?

Well, there are Holocaust documentaries On Demand where I'm petsitting and that puts things into perspective rather nicely. (No, I'm actually watching them because I find the Holocaust fascinating and chilling.)

Too tired to do much online this evening, blah. Going to watch probably one documentary and then crash, without even doing much else.

Lost a doujin I was hoping to win! I'm not really upset or anything, just confused because doujin prices are so unpredictable on Y!J. Some of them will go for 500 yen, others for 5,000 yen (or way more than that in some cases), and there's seemingly no way to expect which way it's going to be. I'll have long streaks where I win everything at starting bid, and then streaks where I get outbid on everything. The one grail-y doujin I won had bidders like crazy until I bid on it, then no competition, and this one had not a single other bid with it at 500 yen, and then someone came in and outbid me at the last minute. That's auctions for you, it just surprised me. Well, this one will pop up again, as it has several times in the last few months.

Off to watch documentaries and go to sleep! Oh, and e-mail Makayla about when to meet up with her tomorrow.
