pacificpikachuSo, Hooch's nails have a habit of growing ridiculously long and he squeals like a little girl when you try and clip his nails. His previous owner told us she used the Pedi-Paws thing on him, but we never wanted to pay for it so we didn't think much of it. Well, mom finally got a Pedi-Paws for $6, and guess what? Totally does the trick without undignified squealing, struggling, and crying. Hooch is not very manly. :'D Anyway, I'm glad that problem was solved, and we really should have just bought the damn thing earlier!
Yes, finally got invoiced from Treasure-Japan for my last four auctions I won. I'll offer up items to my f-list first probably! I would post pictures of both lot auctions now and just have you guys pick out what you want, but the seller of the second one deleted the pic and I can't seem to figure out where I saved it. They should be here in three or four days because I had them shipped EMS. Selling off that stuff (well, the portions of it I'm not keeping) is going to help me pay for a) the five canvas plush I want, as well as the awesome Ash/Misty/Brock cel I'm buying from Gin, and b) Anime Expo! Hopefully I'll make a decent amount. Going to do a little collection weeding if I can as well, but I suck at collection weeding so IDK how well that'll go. I always end up wanting to sell the tiny items that don't take up any room, and the items that no one would want anyway. Fail.
I'm fairly worried about affording AX (well, and having money to spend there--the convention itself/room/transportation shouldn't be too bad, but I want to be able to have a good time and spend some money), so I'm working up the courage to go hand out my resumes at local vet clinics, hopefully tomorrow because I ended up sleeping for most of today. I'm most nervous about what to say when I hand in the resume, orz, and that's the part I'm having trouble with for some reason. ;; Wish me luck--not only could I really use a job, I think I would really enjoy it and it would make me feel less like a loser. XD;; I certainly have more than enough experience with animals, so it's just a matter of hoping one of the clinics could use the help.
I also should make fliers for my five or six chickens I'm still looking for homes for, and maybe advertise pet-sitting. Less than three weeks 'til AX, it's time to get my butt in gear!
Heading up to Tahoe next week on Tuesday and returning on Friday. I doubt it because most of you are far away, but does anyone wanna come? All you'd need is food money and spending money if you want, lodging is free and it'll just be a fun and relaxing trip. I would seriously love a buddy to hang out with.
