And today was going so well, too. *Sigh*

Um--brief, brief recap of the day.

Yami hates me in the morning. He didn't get me this time, but he tried.

Standardized testing in USHistory. Most of the questions the test asked had nothing to do with what we've learned, so it was mostly a guess-and-hope situation. Apparently this went for all of the USHistory classes, as people were complaining about it later.

Had a real test in Anatomy. A big one, too. I finished all of my worksheets except one or two (partially with the help of Aubyn and Melissa), so that'll get me points. I think I did well on the test other than one part in the middle about which parts of the brain control which parts of the body. >< I'm kind of confident about it, though.

RAN around the school in TA period because there was so much stuff to deliver. It was kind of fun, though.

Trig, English, normal.

After school there was an interesting moment where Jenny, Kirstin, and I were standing in the middle room, and a random guy walked up to Jenny and said, "Oh, Jenny, stick around. I need to give back your brother's pants." and we all started majorly cracking up. It sounded SO wrong. XD Especially seeing as Jenny's brother is Kirstin's boyfriend. XDDD;;

Jake came with us when we picked Ryan up, so...uh...yeah.

Now comes the sadness. ;_;

I was in the chicken coop, cleaning out the dove cage, and as I was walking in the chicken coop I closed the door, but it kind of bounced off the sides and was open a sliver. Well, one of my two male doves flew straight out and is gone. ;_; Well, he's not actually gone, as he was hanging around the general vicinity of the chicken coop for a long, long time. Mostly high up in trees. I stayed outside trying to catch him for hours and hours (at least four hours). By cooing and cooing, I managed to get him down close enough that I almost caught him six or so times, but all of those times he got away.

In hopes of luring him closer, I moved the dove cage outside and waited, but after several close swoops where I nearly caught him, he disappeared.

I started freaking out then, because I spotted a hawk about a hundred feet away shortly after I lost track of him, so I was afraid the hawk was going to get him. Luckily, the hawk left after about forty-five minutes (it left after harassing a squirrel, but failing to catch it. All about seventy-five feet away from me.)

I haven't seen him since, so I'm really worried I'm not going to be able to catch him. He'll do just fine living in the wild, but I want him back and his mate misses him. ;_; Mom says we can go get another male dove from Fred this weekend if I don't catch the dove, so that'll be better, but it completely sucks that it ever had to happen. I rarely have regrets, but I really, really regret not closing that door fully.

Also, as I was trying to catch one of the female doves to put her in her cage, I accidentally pulled her tail off, which made me feel even worse.

Well...I'm trying to get ahold of Zoe, because Zoe and Roya are supposed to come over tomorrow for a "Cosplay Party" (AKA us doing all we can to get pieces of our costumes together), so I'd better go contiue attempting to make phone calls (right now Zoe's number is busy, and I'm supposed to get Roya's number from Zoe).

Wahhhh. T_T I miss my dove...
