pacificpikachuSan Francisco was a lot of fun, as expected! It's always nice to see Aubrey and Nicole and Nolan and Ari and our con friends and so on. I miss having them up in Nevada City. :( The bus rides there and back were rather long and there wasn't really enough room to do much other than listen to music (or play DS, but I have to plan more EV training before I can do much on Diamond at the moment), but it was definitely worth it. And the ride back was actually rather nice, as I listened to a lot of music I don't normally listen to including a lot of nostalgic music that made me happy.
Saturday night after I got there we went shopping for food and then spent several hours eating pizza and watching AMV Hell 4 and various YouTube videos from my computer. Lots of fun. :D Strangely enough, got up rather early Sunday morning and after breakfast, we began our Gurren Lagann marathon at 10 AM. We took a few breaks and had to skip episode 6 because we couldn't get the uncensored version to work, but we finished it around 11:30 PM which isn't too bad at all! Three of the guys who marathoned it with us hadn't seen it yet, and by the end they were totally pumped up and cheering and laughing and having a grand time with us. :D Ahhh, the indomitable spirit of Gurren Lagann.
I've found that no matter how many times I see it (this was my tenth time), I can never quite remember how epic and amazing it is unless I'm actually watching it. Which is fun, because then I don't get tired of it at all and it gets me all excited and inspired no matter how many times I watch it. I do recommend that anyone on my friends list who hasn't seen it check it out and watch the whole thing, even if you don't think you'll like it or find the fandom annoying or gave it a try for a few episodes and didn't like it. Of course there will be people who will see the whole thing and still not like it because everyone has different tastes, but I think that most of you would like or LOVE it if you can make your way through the whole series. :D
I need to work on my novel so badly because I didn't work on it since Friday, but I'm really tired tonight. I actually should be doing my Botany lab project because it's due tomorrow, but I was gone all weekend and the teacher said she's flexible with due dates, so I'll work on that during the week I have off between tomorrow and next Tuesday.
I have to figure out ways to get money~ Maybe I'll open drawing commissions! It would be good practice and be a lot of fun.

LOL WHUT. O__o; Jesus is even more buff and bloody and sweaty on the mural, though it's hard to see from that small picture.
This painting was done by one of Nicole's co-workers and it's up in Aubrey and Nicole and company's house (the other side has a completely normal black and white painting of two girls; I should have taken a picture of the whole painting because it's awesome but forgot to):

It makes me laugh more than it should. :'D
Hahaha, my bed at my mom's...how it looks much of the time when I'm sitting on it using my laptop. Generally my cat CC is on there as well, though. But hahaha, they take up almost the entire bed. I love them. ♥ Tia's actually around twice the size/weight of Hana, she just looks smaller in that picture because of perspective.
I have so many things I want to write about, fanfiction and entries on various topics, but it'll have to wait until November is over or I reach 50K.
