I'm using it to download as much live Yoko Kanno music as I can find with lots of Japanese searching, as well as awesome fan covers of Yoko Kanno songs and whatever other random awesome things I find. This will keep me entertained for a while! Once I find all the Yoko Kanno stuff I can, I'll probably go find awesome pillows concerts and Pokémon themes live and just anime music live in general, fufufu. Not to mention weird and annoying things to use as ringtones, such as the BANANAS IN PAJAMAS THEME SONG which I find way more entertaining than it actually is.
Some of the things I've found have been amazing, like a great live version of the Sousei no Aquarion theme and...Maaya live in general. ♥ Gahhhh I'll never forget how amazing she sounded in concert when I saw her at Anime Expo in 2005. She's so gorgeously spot-on in concerts, seriously. ♥ I also found some little music clips from the recent Macross Frontier concert, but they're on imeem and I can't seem to figure out a way to rip them. Stupid imeem. *Shakes fist*
I started watching Eve no Jikan today, which is very very good so far. The animation is so beautiful and shiny (reminds me of a newer Pale Cocoon in a way, with the use of the "camera" movements and sort of polished look to everything), and though I've only seen the first two episodes it is quite compelling and poignant in its own way. I definitely recommend it for those of you who are picking things up--it's not a big time drain and it's great so far. :3
Also watched more Kannagi and Toradora, which were both still entertaining. Nothing special, but entertaining and enjoyable nonetheless.
I did some driving around with dad, and he washed my car today. Of course, him washing my car means...it has to rain shortly after! So when we pulled into Rite Aid, I looked up and it started raining in the sun. The clouds were incredible and the sun was streaming down on everything and illuminating the raindrops as they fell, and it was only raining in this one patch over us and the parking lot. It started raining literally just as we pulled up. (In fact, it was dry under my car and wet everywhere else as a result! There was a big rainbow, too. It was just amazing in regards to weather today, period. ♥ The orange light of the sunset on all the flaming red trees (which are interspersed with the evergreens), in contrast with the dramatic, white and slate gray storm clouds up above is always an incredible sight.
I went with mom and the dogs for a walk at Bridgeport yesterday, which was quite nice too. I took a bunch of pictures, but I haven't uploaded them yet.
It's almost 4 AM now--I suppose it's time to go to bed. See what happens when I get distracted by Yoko Kanno? And here I was going to go to bed early. XD
