Today was, in essence, an anime marathon. I mean, there were brief breaks in the anime, but for the most part that's what I spent my day doing. ^_^

First, I woke up to watch Pokémon. Today's episode was weird and Dad kept giving me weird looks for yelling at and/or talking to the screen. I had rather violent reactions to the whole thing. The trainers of the day were creepy as heck, the writers seemed to be trying to Pokéshipping-ify Advanceshipping (which made me angry), and while the episode's chaos was amusing and fun, I didn't quite know what to think. It caused me a lot of inner turmoil. @_@ (Okay, not really. I'm overdramatizing here. But you get the idea.)

When Dad went running, Ryan was left bored while I watched AMVs on the computer (HA! I got Ciera hooked on AMVs... She PMed me today on animemusicvideos.org to tell me I got her addicted. >D), so he turned on 2 Fast 2 Furious really loud to try to override the music. I didn't like this, so I made a deal with him: Turn off the stupid movie, and we can watch Naruto. So we did, and we had a brilliant time. I'm on episode 94 right now, and absolutely blown away at what a wonderful series it is. Of course, I realized this a long time ago, but it never ceases to amaze me that such a long series can be that good.

Poor Tsunade... And the episode ended on such a cliffhanger! I hate/love those. I'm impressed with how strong Kabuto is, too. Some of the new techniques I've been seeing lately have been interesting.

After that...well, Jake came over so Ryan and I finished the episode (with Jake watching, baffled) and I ran off to call Nicole.

Nicole and I three-way called Cody, and the three of us decided to go watch anime on Cody's big screen TV. I walked to Nate's (that's where Cody was hanging out) and we waited for Nicole for a while, but she didn't show up so we just drove to her house and found her just setting off. We picked her up, and went and watched RahXephon 20-26. It was Nicole's first time seeing the end, and I think she fared fairly well puzzling it all together.

We were in good spirits after watching the end of RahXephon (all a little genki), so we went for an aimless walk downtown. We ended up at Mountain Pastimes, where we played with various mind-puzzle type things for a while (until the store closed). On the way, I believe we saw four people we knew, which is a lot because it's about a five-minute walk from Cody's.

Anyway, after that we took a shortcut on to Main Street and went into a bookstore for a while. We ran into Greg briefly while we were there, but he was just leaving as we were coming so we didn't talk really. Nicole and I giggled over the cheesiest book cover you could ever imagine and then traversed straight into the children's books, which was where we spent the rest of our time in the bookstore. We enjoyed the illustrations thoroughly, and Cody even joined us in looking at the kid's books after a while of looking at books more suited for our age range (well...more like for older than our age range, but whatever.)

Then we walked back to Cody's (the bookstore, too, needed to close after we were there for about fifteen minutes). We ate bagels on Cody's deck and watched some AMVs, and then Nicole had to leave because she was going to a concert later. She got a ride home with Cody's mom, and Cody and I pretty much immediately started on the end of Wolf's Rain. That was excellent, as always.

After it was over, Cody and I philosophized briefly on the ending, and then Cody was showing me some video game stuff. After a while, I looked at the clock and it was almost 10 PM, so I decided I should probably go home. After all, I barely even told Dad I was leaving, and I hadn't talked to him since. Cody gave me a ride home, and, after a while of futile attempts at drawing, here I am.

Nice little day. I love any time when the three of us can hang out together. ^_^

Well, I have Bulbagarden to browse and I would like to get some sleep tonight, so I'll see you later!
