AX-related Ramblings

pacificpikachuGah, why am I so stupid sometimes?
I somehow managed to miss that AX was Thursday through Sunday this year (instead of the usual Friday through Monday), so I booked my hotel for Thursday night through Sunday night. In other words, I should have booked it Wednesday night through Saturday night instead. D: And now they're not allowing you to change your reservation. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to ask to have it changed at the hotel. And if all else fails, I'll just find someone to room with on Wednesday night. (This could be confusing or difficult just because I'm not sure how many are rooming with me and I'm not sure how the aforementioned people are getting to AX to begin with and who is getting there on Wednesday as opposed to Thursday, etc.) This is assuming, of course, that![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
darkleha is leaving on Wednesday, not Thursday. If she's leaving on Thursday... Hmmmm. I'll have to figure something out. I like to get there the night before because I just hate missing anything at AX (not to mention getting my badge is 10x easier the night before). And the Ghibli gathering is at 3 PM on Thursday this year, so it would be nice to get there for that.
At least it's not a big blunder like when I somehow accidentally booked a hotel room for the correct dates...on the wrong year. I'm just brilliant like that.
I hope I'll have enough roommates to afford the room, and transportation won't end up being a nightmare. (Not because ofdarkleha, but because I'm not sure how many are coming and how many are going to need transportation, how many seats there are, etc.) If ANYONE can come and needs a room, please let me know! Preferably if you have your own transportation, but we can maybe work something out otherwise. We managed to fit like eight people in our hotel room comfortably with only one bed at Fanime, and this reservation has two beds... So yeah. But I'm not sure what's going on with Wednesday night yet, so be warned!
Argh, a little stressed about AX at the moment. I'm sure it'll work out just fine and I don't need to freak out about it, but working out the details is always stressful. Especially when it comes to the money aspects, because we're all always on a budget and I hate bothering people about money (even though it's necessary). :( My mom's mad because some of my friends from Fanime still haven't paid. I'd better e-mail them about that right now.
Gah, I need to relax now and stop stressing over things.
