The last few days were awesome, but now I'm exhausted and possibly a little sick. :( Hopefully it'll go away before the weekend, because I intend to have an amazing time whether I'm sick or not. If I am sick it'll be a little more difficult to have the most epic non-convention weekend ever, but it'll happen anyway.

This is going to be a short, boring recap of the weekend because I'm not up for remembering details or making it entertaining. Sorry. It was a lot more fun than it sounds, though.

Nicole's birthday party was on Saturday, and it was fun and crazy. Myself and the party attendees met at Nolan and Aubrey's house, where we proceeded to not leave for a good three hours while we debated about where exactly we were going, how to inform the people who weren't there yet, and other technical details. Once we did leave, though, all went smoothly. We dropped by Safeway to get some supplies, and headed out into the wilderness. We went out into the middle of the forest off of North Bloomfield, and had a barbecue, made several campfires, and played Capture the Flag in the middle of the forest when it was completely dark with no flashlights or anything. Nolan hurt his leg, unfortunately, but other than that the Capture the Flag game was pretty epic. Inu (Nolan's dog) kept chasing whoever was running the fastest and giving away peoples' positions, which was hilarious.

We returned to Nolan's house at about 8 PM or so, and partying occurred. I left at around midnight after mostly just hanging around and talking to Aidan and whoever else was at least reasonably sober. I had a good time there, but I don't like being around when a ton of people are drinking (as I don't drink at all), and when some random people even Nicole didn't know showed up and started doing pot in the living room, I literally just left and stood on the deck until my mom came and picked me up.

I returned the next day at around noon, though, when the party was over and just our friends remained. Nicole and I styled Aidan's wig for a costume he's doing, and basically we just sat around all day and talked and had a grand time. After I said goodbye to Chris and Josh, who were heading back to the Bay Area, Nicole dropped me off at home in the evening on the way to take Aidan to the airport.

Today was a mixture of horrible and wonderful. I woke up at 4 AM this morning because my throat hurt so badly. I was so half-asleep and confused that I somehow had the idea in my head that someone had created a sewing pattern out of my throat and I was trying to figure out why the "lines" for the costume pattern were hurting my throat so much. O_o; Wow, go half-asleep thoughts. I was up for an hour because my throat hurt so badly, though, and I only got to sleep for another hour once I did get back to sleep.

During Animal Science, I was so exhausted I was falling asleep unwillingly. You know that feeling where you're trying your absolute best to stay awake, but you'll suddenly jolt awake without realizing you had fallen asleep? Yeah, like that. It was miserable. My notes look terrible and I'll be surprised if they're even legible, as they just trail off into nonsense and scribbles here and there thanks to me falling asleep while writing them.

Calculus was a little better (but certainly not wonderful), but the highlight of the day was definitely the Animal Science lab. I went in the car with Ari #2 (Animal Science Ari, not the Ari I usually talk about) again, and we had a blast listening to music super-loudly on her AMAZING speakers and talking about all kinds of things on the way there. She's a cool person--I enjoyed it a lot. :D

Our class weighed the seventy-two chickens and cleaned out the chicken pen in record time, and then I proceeded to CHOP UP FRESH HORSE TESTICLES WITH A SCALPEL. I'm not even kidding, strangely enough. XD The testicles came from a horse that had been gelded today, so there was blood on them and everything. That was our lab today, and the horse testicles were very hard to cut and slippery, so there was much stabbing, ripping, tearing, and other craziness. I had the honors of cutting through it with the scalpel, which I think was too dull to be effective against such a slippery enemy. My lab group and I were nearly dying of laughter because we were all stabbing the testicles and poking at them at the same time, and it was just...so ridiculous and hilarious. Awkward, but funny.

On the way back, Ari #2 and I blasted the music even louder and rolled all the windows down and the sun was shining and the sky was gorgeous and it was AMAZING. Near-euphoric, really, despite my sore throat and exhaustion. I felt so much better after that. ♥

KK, Ari #1, and I listened to Sousei no Aquarion OST 2 on the way back from Rocklin, which was lots of fun, too.

Remember that Bulbasaur plush I won? The BIG one? Well, I can't get it any more because the shipping would be $60 total. ;__; I'm rather sad about this, but...oh well. It's probably for the best, as I shouldn't be spending this much money anyway. Sigh.

The rest of the day wasn't worth mentioning. I really need to go to sleep now, so...good night, f-list!

If there's any typos or nonsensical errors in here, I won't be surprised. Please don't make fun of me. D:
