Today was fairly awesome.

I was up at 6 AM, and carpooled with Ari and Elaine like I normally do on Wednesdays. Ari was in her nice car, and it had seatwarmers and Ari let me put on some Yoko Kanno on the way down. 8D When I got down to Rocklin, I worked as best as I could on the Calculus homework, but I didn't make much progress. I just can't figure out how some of the problems have the answers that the back of the book lists them as being, so it was rather frustrating.

We had an extremely easy quiz in Animal Science, and continued to review boring Biology things I've learned a great many times already. Thankfully, Monday we actually start getting into animal-related things, which will be a nice change of pace. AND WE GET TO WEIGH THE CHICKENS. :D

So, I ate lunch and headed off to Calculus, sat down, and waited for the teacher with the rest of the class.

For twenty minutes. After fifteen minutes, people started leaving, and eventually someone called the professor and she said class was canceled.

I'll be honest--I was overjoyed. XD I have tomorrow off, too, which makes for a four-day weekend! I only went to two classes all week.

Mom picked me up in Auburn (where I was browsing the huge nursery there--so many cool trees!) and we drove around for a while, waiting for Ryan to get out of detention. Hahaha, I'm still so amused that Ryan got detention. He's such a little goody-two-shoes. I guess he got it for talking too much in class, which is strange to say the least, as he's quite shy. O_o;

I fiddled around with the PRETTY new TV for a while at dad's. I put Paprika on originally, but for some reason the subtitles were cut off. I was distraught for a while, thinking that all subtitles on everything would be cut off, but then I stuck Place Promised in Our Early Days in, noted that the subtitles were just fine on that, browsed through some of the prettier scenes, and all was well. AND PRETTY. O-OMG SO PRETTY. I watched a few scenes from Gankutsuou for the pretty factor, too. I am quite pleased with the TV, needless to say. *__* I can't wait to marathon something on it, because everything looks downright gorgeous.

A couple of hours ago, dad, Ryan, and I went down to the park in Penn Valley (as it was cloudy in Nevada City) to see the lunar eclipse. It was cool--the moon reminded me of a penny when it was almost all covered up. A strange sight indeed. :D I enjoyed it.

I was going to watch anime until 1 or 2 AM, but I'm sleepy. I think I might just go to bed now. .__.

Tomorrow, I'm thinking Princess Tutu-athon because I really really want to finish it and it'll be awesome on the big screen. However, I may not--as I'd like to finish it in all one go and mom's picking me up later tomorrow. Moral dilemma! D:

I wish my S-video port on my laptop worked so I could watch the contents of my computer on the new TV. Maybe I can get it repaired.
