Ah, fairly ordinary day again.

In Creative Writing... What did we do in Creative Writing? Oh, we described more things... I wrote a weird paragraph about what a raven crowing sounds like. I got a bit off-track, though, and started talking about how ravens have secrets that they're hiding from us and how they bury the secrets in their eyes.

...I'm surprised Mrs. McDaniel hasn't turned me into the asylum yet. o_o;

In US History, Mr. Ostrom got all off-topic again and started rambling basically about how the world sucks and our generation sucks and his generation sucks and in general, everything just sucks. He used different terms than that, though, but that seemed to be his basic point. It's stressing me out having this stupid Picasso report and presentation looming on the near horizon. ;_; I have to finish my paper and figure out how I'm going to do this presentation...

Erin still wasn't in Anatomy, but I finally remembered that she told me last week she would skip this week because she has no way to get to school and...stuff... She's a Senior (and slacks a lot), so I suppose she can get away with this. Melissa and I worked on our worksheets. Well, we got very little done, but at least we did *something*. I think I finished half of an old worksheet in total.

During my TA period, everything was rather typical, as far as I remember.

At Lunch, Nicole and I sat in the choir office and watched Cody and some of the other choir guys "practicing" songs. Meaning they spent about ten minutes squabbling about what they wanted to sing, picked a random song, sang for maybe two minutes, and then got distracted by Bryce doing horribly on a video game on the computer. I got my head petted many times, for some reason, and Nicole and I threw a whole bunch of pistachio shells at Erik.

Math was math-like, and for once I can't say I really understood it. I'd better get going on my homework soon.

In English, Mr. Cartan met with each of us and told us our grades while we filled out a mandatory health survey for the state.

At first I was like, "Ooo, survey!" because I like surveys, but soon the entire class and I were whining about it. It was (seriously) more than 150 questions like "Have you done drugs in the past thirty days?" The most irritating thing about it, though, was that it kept repeating the same things OVER AND OVER again. I swear it asked if we've smoked a cigarette thirty times. >.< I'm not even exaggerating, either.

I have an A in English 3 Honors. Pretty good considering it's a college-level class. ^_^ I get an extra grade point for my GPA because I'm taking it. Mr. Cartan also said that I'm an excellent writer and he could tell I love to write just by reading my essays. It's funny he can tell that from the essays, as I absolutely despise writing them. Anyway, at least he can see that I love writing in general. I got a 96 on my final essay on Beloved, so that made me happy. Mr. Cartan is the hardest essay grader in my entire school, or so I've heard.

After school, Nicole and I were hanging out in the middle room, as usual, when we realized there was an ice cream party going on in the band room. We snuck around for a while, figuring they'd give us ice cream eventually, and our efforts paid off. ^_^ We each got a sundae with whatever toppings we wanted, just for being in the right place ast the right time. I put carmel, oreos, and M&Ms on mine.

Didn't do much the rest of the day. Nicole was supposed to come over, but Emmy is making her practice for the play again so that idea was scrapped. Mom's currently at a meeting for work, and Ryan went with her.

Oh, Hitchi, out of curiosity, what's your area code on your phone number? I got a call with an area code I've never seen (checked caller ID) while I was in the shower this evening (and thus could not answer the phone), and I was wondering if it was you. Just wondering. ^_^ I'll have to give you my Dad's number pretty soon (over e-mail) because I'm going to his house tomorrow evening.

USPS made an attempt at delivering my CDJapan package today at Dad's, but he wasn't home so it'll come tomorrow. That'll be 3/4 packages that have come! Once that comes, all that'll be left for now is the Naruto DVDs...

I'd better get started on my homework. Bai bai!
