Things are busy but going okay here! Aside from the extremely frustrating lack of reliable computer, at least. I'm hoping I get things worked out with the company ASAP because I am so sick of this. It doesn't work for me to just be without my laptop for stretches of time--I use it for collecting, art, writing, photos, hoarding fanart, watching anime, socializing, animal rescue stuff, keeping ridiculous numbers of tabs open, reading fanfiction and articles, and so on, so being without it is practically crippling. I've been catching up on MLP: FiM, Parks & Recreation, and Community in the meantime, and then I started watching Orange Islands episodes again.

I can't believe we've almost been fostering Lucky for a month! Time flies. :O He's a good little guy. He has his issues (mostly that he is protective of people and sometimes fights with Hooch as a result, and chases Tosca), but he's extremely smart and just wants to make people happy. He sleeps with me every night and he is extremely loyal. I'm working with Ratbone Rescue. Hopefully he'll be neutered, microchipped, and ready to go to a new home soon. I suspect once he goes up on their site, he'll probably find a good home relatively quickly.

I keep wanting to do more art, but lack initiative. Maybe if I'm without my computer for long enough, haha. I've found that I make excuses not to do art whether I have it or not, though, which is silly and counterproductive.

I want to do the wishlist meme and maybe send Christmas cards, I'll try and make those posts soon! I also want to try and grant some wishes. I'm terrible at getting to things because my life and brain are a jumble of chaos anyway, and being without my laptop really does not help, but I'm going to do my best to try and make some people happy!

It's cold lately! It's all frosty in the mornings and the chicken water is frozen over when I go feed the chickens before work. It makes it difficult to shuffle out of bed. That is legitimately the hardest part of the day, everything after that is just fine. Getting out of bed is always a challenge, though.

I also want to make a post on happy memories and things in my life that I am grateful for. Despite the struggles I sometimes face and the fact that, like most people who keep personal blogs, I tend to vent more often than I express my joy, but I have so many amazing memories and things I am incredibly thankful for, and I want to post about those when I get a chance! Also, an informative post explaining why people go vegan is something I've wanted to write for a while.

I hope you're all doing well! I'm trying to keep up with my f-list to the best of my ability, even if I don't always comment! If you want to talk to me directly, you can always e-mail me! phoenixfreedom AT yahoo.com. I check my e-mail all the time, even at work, and get kind of lonely when I don't have as much computer access.

- Biaxin. Had it once when I was little and my throat swelled up some.

- This is weird, but my hands are allergic to the wood used in most #2 pencils. My hands sweat even thinking about touching the wood of pencils! I think I've had this allergy my whole life, but didn't realize what it was until a few years ago in an art class. When I hold a pencil for a while, my hands get splotchy, painful, itchy, red, sometimes swell up and sweat. I have to use mechanical pencils as a result, otherwise it's very uncomfortable. This doesn't seem to be the case with colored pencils, at least my Prismacolors, though.

- Kiwis make my tongue tingle a bit sometimes and I think it could be a slight allergy, but I like them so if I have a chance I'll generally eat them anyway.

I also seemingly had an allergic reaction to whatever chemical Wal-Mart uses on their new pillows.

I think that's all I'm allergic to. At least, as far as I'm aware!
