Jul. 5th, 2011 11:25 pmAnime Expo was totally awesome! I slept most of yesterday on the train and now nearly all of today as well. I had a grand time. Hopefully I'll be at least somewhat functional at work tomorrow. I have much to do here, including sending a few more packages and doing some sales to get rid of as much sales stuff as possible. It's hot here, it makes me unhappy and drives me to being rather nocturnal again.
I'm catching up on posts, but there are 400+ to get through so it might take me a bit!
Tosca ended up sneaking into the room and killing the duckling that hatched the night before Anime Expo. I'm really sad about it, but...I almost knew, as soon as I found the duckling, that something was going to happen to it, and I prepared myself for bad news regarding it. I'm not mad at Tosca, of course, she was just being a cat, and I'm not mad at mom either because it was just an accident. I really hate losing birds like this. I think my focus, now that Anime Expo is over, is going to be bettering my enclosures and my own diligence to try and prevent anything that can happy to my animals. Thankfully, all of my other fowl are doing just fine. All fifteen serama chicks, plus one brand new one, are doing great.
I want to work on getting all of my packages and business from last sales post worked out completely, and in the next few days post sales of the rest of the items I have and get those out ASAP. Going to do my best at work.
I want to try and find balance in my life. Get to where I am not feeling stressed out, I am doing what I need to do in life, enjoying both my responsibilities and my hobbies in such a way that I don't feel like things are out of control. It will be difficult, but I hope I can make some progress.
