Thank you all SO MUCH for the birthday wishes! More than I think I've ever gotten before, amazingly, just tons! :D I'm so happy to have you all as my friends, it means a lot! ♥

I had a pretty good birthday~ I went down to Roseville with Mom and Ryan and went to dinner at my favorite noodle place and got frozen yogurt. Oh, and I got the limited edition guidebook for B/W, mostly for drawing references for the B/W Pokémon. Also because it's really pretty! Looking forward to going through it in detail.

I felt a little on edge yesterday, I'm not sure why! Strange. It's kept me from fully enjoying myself, but that's all right. It's no big deal, I feel better today. :)

Yamada-san, my friend at GAINAX, e-mailed me apologizing for not e-mailing in a long time and said basically that: a) GAINAX has gotten strict about staff talking to fans outside of conventions/official events, and b) he's leaving GAINAX for personal reasons. Ahh, sad! But I'm super, super grateful that I got the experiences with GAINAX that I did, thanks to him. The memories I have with Gurren Lagann and its staff are forever extremely special to me... I can't even begin to express it in words! Gurren Lagann has really been a powerful positive force in my life, and continues to be, and always will be. ♥

I must admit, I find Pokémon musicals really fun! So many props to choose from, it's entertaining. There's not much to the strategy and whatnot, but I don't care. I just like dressing up Pokémon and watching them dance, and getting new props, LOL.

I've been having fun wandering around since beating the Elites. I haven't even gone to the new after-elites areas yet because I'm too busy revisiting old areas first to make sure I got items and battled everyone. I'm saving the after-elites areas for when I run out of other things to do first, just because I don't want to rush through everything and feel bored.

Crazy how the trainers have all level 60+ Pokémon now! My Pokémon are only in their low 50s, whut. That said, we can beat most of the trainers without too much difficulty, but still! There's this one trainer with an Altaria who blacked me out twice, urghhh. Need an ice type move!

Whenever I start White (might be a while), I'm going to make a BURD TEAM OF AMAZING because I'm in love with so many birds this generation. It'll definitely have Unfezant, Swanna, Braviary, Archeops, and Emolga (not a bird and I think that's amusing), and probably Mandibuzz, too.

There are a few other Pokémon I want to train at some point, such as Heatmor, Volcarona, Swoobat, Leavanny, Whimsicott, Sigilyph, Carracosta, Zoroark, Reuniclus, Galvantula, and more, but I'll get to those whenever I do I suppose~

Forgot to post that I ended up missing the wildlife rehab class I was excited about. It turns out they had moved it to a morning time so by the time I got there it was long over. :( But I made sure the drive was not a waste by going to visit the wonderful family I got my seramas from. They are so sweet, I love them! They were thrilled I came to visit and I got a full tour of all the seramas they currently have. So cute and gorgeous! It's always fun to see seramas that belong to other people because seramas really are all over the place as far as colors go. You never know what you're going to see! I love looking at peoples' birds in the serama thread on BYC, there are so many drool-worthy birds on there! 400+ pages, ahaha. http://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=1109784

Speaking of which, I have serama hens on eggs and they've been sitting on them for a while. I'm going to let them keep the eggs and see what happens. :) There's also a black east indies duck egg (green with speckles!) under them, but seeing as ducks take longer to hatch, if it starts to develop I'll have to bust out the incubator.

[livejournal.com profile] mei_san is coming to spend the weekend here, I'm really excited about this! It'll be so fun! I only wish my new laptop was working because I have all my AMVs and a fair amount of anime on there, but...not much I can do about that for now.

I totally napped through two shows about conjoined twins today, haha. And tomorrow there's a potluck at work for my birthday, which should be fun! My co-workers are soooo good at making delicious vegan food, mmmm. *A*
