(no subject)

Ahhh that nap was way longer than I expected. e___e (Like five hours?!) I'm going to have to get used to this getting up early thing, I guess, although I slept enough last night and didn't feel very tired earlier so I'm not sure what was up with the crash and burn. I was going to go to the NaNoWriMo write-in that I myself arranged, fff, but I overslept! ;;

Anyway, the first day of my job went well! It was a beautiful day to be at the sanctuary, I took a tour and saw all the animals, and filled out standard starting a job paperwork, worked on some paperwork about the egg farmers I'll be calling, and had a nice lunch with my new co-workers (who seem like very cool people) because it was the birthday of one of the staff. :D There are cute doggies all over the office, at least six of them if not more, it's great! Maybe I'll be able to bring Honey in if I'm lucky.

My words are going faster in NaNo now that I'm in the thick of plot, and I surpassed 40k last night! Finishing NaNo on Sunday at the Night of Writing Dangerously is going to be easy! Need to write my 2k(+?) tonight, though.

Sorry about the lack of fandom talk lately--I've just been too busy! Things are going to calm down somewhat after this weekend, though, with NaNo ending for me and not so many events coming up. December is going to be relaxing for the most part I think.
