(no subject)

Thank you to everyone who offered comfort over Princess. ;; I'm doing all right. I feel fairly peaceful about it, but I might still be in denial. I don't know, it's going to be strange without her, but at the same time it was her time to go, so to a certain degree I'm resigned about it. It's still sad regardless, but at least I feel like I can deal with it.

I really wanted to make a collection update last night with the new surfing Pikachu stuff and my surfing Pikachu collection in general, but no one was home to sign for the big package from Gin when they tried to deliver it yesterday! And then I was gone today during the hours the post office is open so I can't get it until Monday. :/

My dad, brother, and I drove down to Fairfax and back today for my grandma's surprise 80th birthday party. She obviously enjoyed it, but to be completely honest I found it rather dull. XD I dislike formal events, especially when I'm expected to interact with a bunch of people who apparently know me but who I don't remember. It was just a lunch-type thing with all her friends and family at a fancy restaurant. Oh well, at least I got to talk to my cousins about internet-y topics. I'm surprised/a little disappointed we didn't do anything but head home when the party finished at around 3 PM, but whatever. I can't think of anything we would've done anyway.

Victini is kinda cute! I'm not like...super fond of it, not like Chiramii, but I like it! LOL I registered victini on LJ just because...I am an evil person and want to hoard Pokémon LJ usernames. IDK why or what I am going to do with these accounts (er, it's only one account at this point, but when I have more) and I'll probably give them away if someone ends up really wanting one that I'm squatting on, but... I am easily amused, I guess. XD Maybe I'll use one for an art journal or some other type of specific journal. Going to wait for all Gen V Pokémon to be released first before making decisions.

I want to do more art! And I need to get two (or more) of those hanging plush storage things from Ikea so I can rearrange shelves--my room is getting super-crowded with collections again! Maybe the plush won't be as visible in those nets, but it'll free up some shelf/surface space hopefully so I can do some arranging. :D I should maybe look into some cheap little display case things, too. Anything I can do to free up some space and display things comfortably without doing much collection weeding! I am bad at collection weeding. ;A; Maybe replace the TV with more shelves because I never use that TV anyway and it's big and has color problems anyway, and...hmmm, I'll figure things out!

I'm also considering changing my LJ layout because this one is old and bleh, but I am a little afraid to screw with the code on layouts too much for fear of completely screwing it up. Still, I may work on drawings to serve as banners for the journal and maybe my profile, and we'll see what I come up with. I guess I feel like rearranging things today in general.
