(no subject)

I am officially back from petsitting! And a day early, too, as Kathie and Greg decided to come back home a day early. (Probably on account of the weather.) Petsitting was nice and peaceful, and actually the work wasn't that hard at all this time. One would think cleaning up after two shires (shires are the largest breed of horse) would be difficult, but it was quite easy and only took around ten minutes a day to clean their stalls. It'll be nice not having to get up at 7 AM any more, though--that was the time of the first horse feeding.

The most interesting thing that happened during my petsitting was that there's a tame doe that lives in the area (I did not know this at the time), and so I spotted a doe near the house and was rather confused when she approached me and began to lick me, and she didn't mind at all when I stalked her for over an hour petting her and taking a ton of pictures. I normally would be very concerned about a tame deer's chances of survival, but seeing as Kathie and Greg's property is wayyyyyy out in the country, it's fine that she lives there because there's not anyone out there to approach for the most part. Plus, she seemed very healthy and happy.

In other news, SNOWWWW has been dumped all over my county! I was shocked to wake up this morning at Kathie and Greg's house (which is a very low elevation) to find 3-4" of snow on the ground! I'll have to see soon how much there is at my dad's house. Probably at least a foot or two~ No school today as a result of the snow, which is good because I didn't feel like going today to begin with. Honey saw the snow for what I presume is the first time ever today, and she went crazy bouncing around in it like a little rabbit and having the time of her life. So cute!

I got super lucky and came home just as Gin posted reservations for the 1/1 scale Eevee, so I got the second slot. EEEEEE! ♥ I'm so excited!
