Laptop cord is fixed! Again! For now, anyway. I really need to get a new cord, but cord shopping is surprisingly complicated. >__>

Anyway, made a discovery today that...uh, complicates things a bit temporarily. Turns out Mei the guinea pig is actually male. DX Serves me right for not checking when I got him! I just assumed that the people that gave him to me knew for sure that he was female (seeing as they got him from a pet store, and I figured the pet store would know), and only discovered today that that was not the case. Thankfully, Daniell is considering adopting him, and then I just need to find another female...again. Hopefully a real female this time. Revoking Mei's name so I can use it for the actual female guinea pig, and also because it doesn't work for a male guinea pig/Daniell can name him if she decides to adopt him.

Had a weird and surprisingly emotional dream about rehabbing a small bear cub last night. He was just a little fellow, perhaps about the size of a corgi or perhaps a little bigger, and for some reason I had him just roaming freely around the yard and house and even the chicken coop. I think the circumstance was that someone had found him in the woods and his mother was dead, so I took him and cared for him on a temporary basis. I realized, even in the dream, that my rehabbing license doesn't cover bears, so I knew I would have to give him up, and within the forty-eight hours I had had him, I grew very attached and was deeply saddened by the thought of giving him to Fish and Game. He was mischievous and lots of work, but I really wanted to raise him to release despite how obviously impossible that would be (not only the license, but the size of a bear, danger of it, and so on). I had completely forgotten the dream until tonight when I was watching a show on Animal Planet, and a bear came on and the dream suddenly came back to me.

Makayla and I worked on getting the programs and video footage for our Dennou Coil AMV set up on Saturday, and though we didn't get to actual editing yet we are now officially ready to begin editing! I think we're going to try to start editing this upcoming weekend, or sooner if we can. :D

I keep wanting to write long introspective entries but then I always write when I'm getting sleepy. Will have to do that sometime, though.
