Billy Mays was found dead at his home.

Now, what is REALLY, REALLY bizarre about this was that right after my friends and I found out about Michael Jackson's death, we started randomly talking about Billy Mays and how Billy Mays could never die because he would just sell things to God in exchange for his life. And then, just a few days after that conversation, he's dead. O___o; WTF! When I saw the link, I seriously thought it was some sort of joke for a few seconds.

Ahh, I have to work on the autobiography job for much of today, and then I need to get on AIM tonight and talk to heerosferret about Japan plans. I feel bad I didn't have time to log on before and keep her informed. ;;

Lost another perfectly healthy young hen again today. It was Caramel, my gorgeous Golden Sebright. I just found her dead in the nest box... Same type of scenario, absolutely no signs of disease or injury, she was perfectly healthy a few hours before her death... I can't help but be rather upset, losing both Cochin Bobochin and Caramel so unexpectedly. I loved those birds. :( The only thing I can think may have caused their deaths was the heat, as it's been over 100 degrees out the last two days. I went inside the henhouse, though, and it really didn't seem that hot in there, and both hens had water in their crops... I also sprayed all the chickens off with cool water earlier in the day.

Anyway, I'm really worried and sad. ;; I refrigerated Caramel's body instead of freezing it so I can see if Dr. Lund would mind taking a look at her to try and determine the cause of death tomorrow at the rehab class.

I really, really hope I don't lose any more... It's hard enough losing these two beautiful, wonderful girls as it is.

Disabling comments just 'cause I don't want to dwell on it right now. I'm having trouble accepting it because it was so sudden, and I just want to try to look forward to Anime Expo and my Japan trip instead of thinking about it too much.
