Apr. 6th, 2008 10:58 pmI'm so guilty, f-list. The weekend is over yet again, and I still haven't started making Densuke's head. ;__; I will do it--it just seems like every time I plan to do it, I have no motivation and I procrastinate to ridiculous extents. At least I'm ordering my faux fur for the Densuke and Boota costumes on Tuesday most likely. I think I have Spring Fever or something--I can't seem to bring myself to do ANYTHING these days. The weather has been beautiful, though.
KK called me at around 10 PM last night because she decided to go for Med School and switched her major to Integrative Biology, and therefore she wanted to know how various difficult science classes are and who to take them with. Somehow, we ended up having a nearly four-hour discussion on school, difficult science classes, 1990's nostalgia, really old fanfiction and how amazing/terrible it is, and...I don't even know what else. We talked until 1 AM, though, haha. It was so ridiculous and awesome.
So, I'm pretty serious about getting a tablet now. I should be saving all my money for conventions and cosplay (especially because I just discovered I have $100 less than I thought I had), but...I really want one, and I think it would be a good investment and worth my money. I'm probably going to order a Wacom Bamboo Fun (Blue, 4x6) within the next week, if all goes well. We'll see! I think it's about time I get a tablet, though.
This morning Ryan (my little brother) and I got up and went out to the chicken coop. The chickens (and Eugenie the duck and Julia the pheasant, actually) have been laying up a storm this past week, probably because of the nice weather, and there were at least fifty eggs in the coop. D: They were all dirty, though, because Starly was sitting on them for a few days at random earlier in the week. So we collected them all and threw them into the bushes. This is surprisingly, strangely fun to do--watching the eggs explode when they hit the branches of trees and such. 8D
We went to dad's a little after that, and randomly Ryan wanted to watch The Last Unicorn with me (I hadn't watched the movie in at least two years!). We did so, and I enjoyed the first half a lot more than I remembered, but I was a bit disappointed by the second half. I still very much prefer the book (which is my favorite book of all time ♥), but I absolutely adore the design of the unicorn and how they animated her in the movie. She's so beautifully done. The human characters...not so much. D: I wish they would make either an awesome new TLU anime or a live action movie. That would be so amazing.
Hmmm, better go to bed, as much as I don't want to. I have to be up at 6 AM and study for my Animal Science test. Good night!
