ylmik_wisty and I went to the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Release annual training today (actually, yesterday, now that it's past midnight)! ylmik_wisty, if you're reading this, it was completely awesome getting to meet you IRL and I'm so glad you were able to make it to the class! I can't wait to have further adventures with you sometime soon! :D I hope your ride home was nice, and I'm going to find you Corky's number ASAP.

The class went extremely well--all the key speakers (both guests and the usual staff) were great, and the amount of passion and effort that went into the class was obvious. We got to see all of the current education birds (with the exception of Janey's new crow), including, oddly enough, the chick who accompanied my lone quail last year--who is not a big, handsome rooster! I was so amused when Janey brought him out.

I'm quite tired right now and I want to go watch AMVs, so I won't got into a bunch of detail. Suffice to say, it went amazingly well.

Also, augh, astrokittie got me addicted to this site even though my mouse is crummy and causes me pain when I try to draw with it. ;__; http://www.unowen.net/tegaki/dblog.php?u=6745 I have no entries yet, but...I'm sure someday I will. >__>
