Ack, the chaos. D:
Dec. 18th, 2006 10:12 pmSo sorry about the lack of updates/keeping up on my friends-list. The last few days have been utter chaos, basically. I was without internet for two days and just plain too busy yesterday, so...yeah.
The sixteenth and seventeenth, we started moving to the new house with Dad. This went reasonably well, but was crazy and messy and insane as moving usually is. x_x Dad was mad at me on and off on account of my not helping enough by his standards (even though I got more done on unpacking my room than anyone). My new room is nice. I still don't like the carpet, but the room is slightly bigger and roomier, I like the two windows, and I had fun arranging everything. When Dad moved the fish tank, the fish all almost died of stress (but turned out to be okay).
Zoe came over yesterday, so that was lots of fun. Zoe and I watched AMVs and Watership Down yesterday, and then Ryan, Zoe, and I took out Bust-a-Move 4 for the Playstation (hahaha, I had almost forgotten about that game's existence) and ended up playing it for hours and hours. While we were doing this, Mom called to tell me that one of the cats scratched Hana's eye and she had to get Hana down to Loomis. ;_;
Mom took Hana to the animal eye doctor in Rocklin early this morning. Luckily her lens was unaffected (if it had been, she would have either been blind in that eye or surgery would be necessary), but the scratch is still pretty serious. She's on five different medications right now and we have to keep her quiet for the next week. There's still a chance something could happen and screw her eye up, but I'm really hoping her eye heals all the way. :(
Meanwhile, Zoe and I were up until 2 AM last night watching stupid stuff on YouTube (namely, music videos by Rednex and Men Without Hats). We laughed so hard it caused us physical pain. XD;; Great fun.
Today Zoe and I sat around watching soap operas for no apparent reason and we also watched the first episodes of Honey & Clover, Mushishi, and Monster. After Zoe left, I've been doing animal chores and such.
Uh...that's been my few days, I guess. I might as well write about a weird dream I had the other night, though, because it had some cool imagery and I don't want to forget about it. I've already forgotten most of it, but I might as well write down what I do remember still.
( Random dream )
Oh, by the way--I'm really really sorry everyone, and I feel awful about this, but I highly doubt I'm going to be able to send the Christmas cards. I got two and a half done, and they turned out wonderful--but with moving and Hana's injury, I have NO time to work on them. I feel terrible about it, especially seeing as I promised myself I'd finish and send them, but...so many things popped up unexpectedly that it's basically too late to send them and have them arrive on time anyway, and I'd still have tons of cards to do even if there was time. I'll still do drawings for everyone and send the DVD-Rs I made for everyone, but it won't be for Christmas and it might be a while. I guess they'll be post-Christmas cards instead.
Also,
campfuckudie was banninated. D: D: D: D: EEK, I really hope it comes back soon. T_T
