Hmmm.

This is a unique and completely random thought: I'll bet there is no one else in the entire internet who has kissed two pheasants today.

On the each of their feathery heads when I put them to bed tonight, might I note, before people really start thinking I've lost it. XD;; Though it's probably much too late for that.

Today, yet again, I was extremely tired when I woke up. I had dreams that I probably remembered when I woke up, but unfortunately by now they seem to have completely and totally faded into obscurity. I remember absolutely nothing about them. Mom took the cats to the vet today to get their rabies shots while I was in Chemistry, therefore the first thing I had to do when I woke up (and I was completely out of it, making this a difficult task) was to capture both of the cats and stuff them into carriers. Princess wasn't too difficult, as I nabbed her before she knew what was going on, but CC got the hint and immediately squeezed under the futon. This made it a very interesting morning.

Both of the cats "MOOOWWWWWW"ed pitifully the whole way there. Poor kitties! Mom says they were wonderful at the vet's, though. I wish I could've gone.

Chemistry was kind of frustrating just because we've been going through literally one chapter per CLASS in lecture, but our lab was nice and short and I got sushi afterwards, so it was all right. As I was waiting for Mom to pick me up after class, I started reading Edward Abbey's The Journey Home, which I'm enjoying so far. He's a funny guy, that Abbey.

After class, Mom, Ryan, and I went to Hedman's Furniture, where I had far too much fun trying out all the mattresses, chairs, and couches. Initially we went there to get me a new mattress, but the mattress I wanted was expensive and Mom isn't sure she wants to buy an expensive mattress, so we ended up trying out all the chairs and couches. When all was said and done, we ended up buying a really COMFY nice couch that we'll be getting over the weekend. I'm rather excited about this. XD

Other than that, I've basically been vegetating since I got home. I've been online a lot, watched The Office, and...uhhh...that's about it. Really.

Oh, the guinea pigs are spending the night in the bathroom in the tub I kept the ducks in when they were babies, as it's too cold outside for the little girls and I haven't transitioned their cage indoors quite yet. We also need to get another heat lamp, as the other one is on the cockatiels.

I've been trying to start my [livejournal.com profile] naruto_wishlist fanfic for the last small amount of time, but I'm not entirely sure how I want to start it. I do really like this sentence "Outside, the mist wavered up from the ground like the ghosts of cranes," but I'm not quite sure otherwise how I want to get into it. The Mushishi OST is very helpful in setting the mood, but...eh, I want this to be a good piece of fanfiction so I might be acting overly cautious about how I start the 'fic.

Hmmm.
