I'm having somuchfun watching the elections on Yahoo right now.

Um. I received the *weirdest* SasuNaru plot bunny at midnight last night. It sprang up on me just as I was settling to go to bed, and I feared I'd forget it, so I had to get up and turn the light on, grab a pen, get some paper, and scrawl down some nonsensical notes on it. Then I went to sleep. It's a good thing this plot bunny chose this particular time to attack me, because I was in dire need of one for my [livejournal.com profile] naruto_wishlist assignment, which I have yet to start.

Then I woke up and realized that this particular plot bunny is really frickin' screwed-up, dark, and strange.

...But that's okay, because I did some more stalking research on my recipient--only to realize that--hey, I've read some of her fanfics! And loved them! Hooray. It was a moment of celebration. And thus, I concluded that dark, strange, messed-up plotbunny was a good idea after all. It is now locked in a cage where it cannot eat and/or reproduce with my other, more benign plotbunnies. I should be starting on it soon, before I realize that it's just a bit too abstract to pull off.

I awakened in the middle of another vivid dream this morning.

In this one, I was in Tahoe with Mom and Ryan. For some reason, the chicken coop was there, too (I'm beginning to suspect my chicken coop travels to distant locations while I sleep), and Mom forgot to close it at night. Anyway, so all the chickens, ducks, and pheasants scattered throughout the dream's version of Lakeland Village, and it was my mission to capture them all and put them back in the chicken coop. In one scene, I snuck into the yard of someone with a lakefront property to catch Ho-oh, who was sitting at the top of an apple tree. I don't remember whether I caught her or not, because in the next scene I remember, I was running past a wedding that was going on (causing a terrible ruckus as I did so) chasing the male pheasant. I thought there was no way I could catch him, but I managed to grab him and put him under my arm. As I was walking up some stairs towards a window (on the stairs, there were signs demanding that various people from high school should be at Lakeland Village), pheasant still under my arm, I found a male goldfinch who was injured (a window-strike, I think). I picked him up in the other hand, intending to rehab him.

As I was passing between an outdoor area and an overhang that eventually led indoors, I looked at a flower pot and discovered two baby great blue herons siiting under the flowers and gaping. I regretted that I didn't have anything to feed them with (just for the fun of it), but continued on inside.

At that point, I was pretty sure I had almost all of the chickens and the ducks and pheasants, and I went into the building and discovered it was a big, glitzy place where some sort of movie premiere was happening. There was some famous politician there (though I don't remember who it was) who was the director of the movie. In the building, which was mostly painted red, pink, and orange, there were lots of people from last year's NU Chamber Choir. There was also a fast food restaurant, where I stood in line and watched some kid throwing a fit. I'm not sure whether I still had the pheasant under my arm at this point.

Ummm...I don't remember much more than that.

I was so exhausted today during class--I did horribly on the quiz we had, and had a difficult time comprehending even the simplest things. In the experiment, I managed to cause some mineral water I brought for pH testing to explode everywhere. XD;; The pH lab wasn't bad in general, though--it was easy and involved lots of pretty colors.

I had Mom pick me up because Levi was going to a friend's house after school, and once I got home I lounged around for a bit, helped Ryan with his homework (for $20), and did my own homework. That's...pretty much it. I still have some animal chores to complete before bed, but...uh, yeah.
