Today, I awoke and did the usual animal chores, chased the pheasants around my room, walked the dogs, and such, then caught a bus to school (Mom was working dayshift today, which means no ride for me). The lady with the mustache was driving again. That probably sounds like an overdramatization, but she really does have a mustache. She always makes me kind of uneasy, but oh well.
It was a smoky day at Sierra College. Supposedly there were four fires in our area, though one was put out midday. I had a Psych exam, which wasn't too bad although there was the occasional question where I went "Bzuh?" and wasn't quite sure how to answer. I finished my test about an hour before class ended, so I left early and went to the cafeteria. In the cafeteria, I did lots of hanging out with people for the two hours before Statistics. Tony, Sue, Tyler, Shannon, and B all came by, in that order. ^^ Lots of fun talking to them--Shannon even had her Hinata jacket on. Yay!
Statistics consisted mostly of review for the upcoming test, and yet again I finished early, so I went and sat on a bench and read Time magazine for a while, waiting for English class. Meanwhile, again Sue, B, and Tyler found me, so there was general chattering for a while. ^_^ I then headed off to English, only to discover it was cancelled. *Gasp*
So I caught up with B and Tyler again, talked with them for a few minutes, and then waited around for a bus home. I finally caught one, but the mustached lady was driving around some weird route and eventually just dropped all her people off at another bus. Who didn't get me to the Grass Valley bus stop on time. I got to the Grass Valley bus stop at 3 PM, and then was told I'd have to wait 'til 4 PM for the Penn Valley bus. Seeing as I had already invested one whole hour of time into riding the bus, I was miffed to put it mildly. :/ Do you know how frustrating it is for a bus to take more than two hours to take you to a location that is fifteen to twenty minutes away by car? It's aggravating.
Finally I called Mom, who Ryan informed me was possibly getting off work. So, I did so, and she came and picked me up at the bus stop at about 3:50 PM and brought me home. Before I left the bus stop, Sue magically showed up out of nowhere, so we talked for about five minutes. XD;;
However, when Mom and I got home, Mom was called back into work, so...yeah. I spent the next two hours helping Ryan write his first essay. Very stressful, as my brother is impossible when it comes to homework, but it was worth the money. Mom's now paying me $10 an hour to help Ryan with his homework, so I've made $55 in the last two days. Woohoo--Death Note Vol. 7, Haruhi artbook, and Eureka Seven DVDs, here I come!
The rest of the day not accounted for was spent watching AMVs and doing the usual animal chores.
Oh, oh, oh! And Makayla (
scorpio_alice) is volunteering to app Peppo for
