I think I caught a virus or something, because last night ended up being extremely unproductive sleepwise. To be more specific, all night it felt like there was a deranged clown or something blowing up balloons in my intestines constantly, and it was extremely unpleasant and in general not a lot of fun. When all was said and done, I didn't get more than four hours of sleep (not for lack of trying, either--I even called Mom at work at 1:30 AM to see if she knew how to remedy it) and I still felt terrible when I woke up. Mom picked me up for class at about 8:10 AM because there's no way I can miss Chemistry. Luckily, so I didn't starve myself, she bought me some fruit at Albertson's to eat before she took me to class.

On the way to class she gave me some sad and slightly unsettling news; apparently, all three of our neighbor's sheep were brutally killed by something last night. We have no idea what did it. Kind of creepy--if whatever it is can take down the sheep, it'd have no problem getting my dogs or cats. Luckily the chicken coop is pretty safe so far, but it still makes me a little nervous. The animals are all definitely staying in at night.

Despite my utter braindeadness and lack of sleep and feeling icky all day, Chemistry wasn't bad. We got to play with spectroscopes, which was way cool and there were lots of pretty shiny lights. For some reason, it got really cold and stormy all the sudden, but the air conditioner was still on in both the lecture room and the lab. ._.; Normally this wouldn't affect me much at all, but I'm sick so I was going in and out of being very shivery. The weather was beautiful, though--it even rained for about five minutes.

I had to walk to a bus stop about a twenty minute walk away in order to take the bus to Dad's, and although I missed the bus the first time and had to wait for it for over an hour, the walk there was strangely amazing. I guess there was just something dramatic about this field of wheat or dry grass or whatever it is in contrast to the gray-ish sky,, waving around in the wind, and for some bizarre reason, although I felt terrible, I also felt good and enlightened and...in a mood I'm not sure I've ever been in before that was very peculiar. It was strange. I did homework for a little while when I was waiting for the bus, but I couldn't really bring myself to do it for very long.

So, I took the bus to SPD and walked home from there. Most of the rest of the day was spent sitting on the computer and doing Chemistry homework. Oh, and playing Honey & Clover music constantly. After about four hours of it, I started getting sick of it (though I like it very much, four hours is a bit excessive), so I eventually turned it off. Now I'm back listening to it again, though, so apparently I wasn't that sick of it.

I ate a little bit of rice for dinner (all I ate all day was a little fruit, a little rice, and less than a handful of trail mix :/), wandered around aimlessly wondering what to do with myself for a while, watched a rerun of The Office with Dad (have I ever mentioned how much I love that show?), and...that's about it. I still feel icky and despite my sleep deprivation I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to sleep. It's a good thing I have no school tomorrow.

Kind of a weird day overall. Kind of nostalgic, too, though, so that confuses me. Normally feeling sick just sucks, and this mostly does but I think it tweaked my brain or something.
