I'm just going to write a relatively quick entry for the day. It was very eventful, but not in a way that'll take very long to describe.

I woke up at around 10:30 AM (due to the lack of sleep thanks to Ryan, Tanner, and Dylan being loud until late) and mostly sat around for hours trying not to kill Tanner. ^^;; At some point that was after noon, we brought Tanner to Alta Sierra where we got rid of him finally, and then we went to Wendy's to do random things. Like disassemble her fish-less fish tank (which I then obtained for rehabber stuff), play with her pug Ellie, and Dad got a haircut.

We went home for lunch, Dad and Ryan went to the river, and I stayed at home and messed with internet stuff.

We left for the fair at about 5:10 PM or so, where I quickly discovered there was already a line forming for chick/duck/pheasant adoptions. :O I got in said line and chatted with the random people ahead of me and behind me in line for the hour or so I was in the line. As I was doing this, approximately fifty-sixty-maybe more people joined the line. It was pretty crazy by the time I left--there's NO WAY there were enough little peepers for everyone.

Well, they announced that there would only be one bird per person present (and seeing as I had Dad and Ryan, that totalled three), which made me all distraught because I wanted two ducklings and two pheasants. Well, I managed to talk the lady in charge into that (she was extremely reluctant). The fact that I'm a wildlife rehabber was the only reason I got all four babies. ^^;; We got a separate box for the pheasants and put the ducks in the cat carrier I brought. They're SO CUTE. OMG. YOU MUST SEE THEM.

I'll post pictures tomorrow once I locate the camera.

Ryan and I fixed up an environment for them once we got home, and since I got home I have been almost constantly revising this environment. ^^; I'm really paranoid that the babies are going to get too cold and die, so I have all these different heat sources for them. ^^;;

So, yeah. That was the day. I'm really excited. Tomorrow my robins and jay might be going to the flight cage if I can connect with everyone, and I'll probably be doting on my BAYBEEES for the next few weeks. I intend to make them as tame as I possibly can. XD;; See, I like babies. I like feathery babies and furry babies and anything but human babies.

Oh, and I finally got into a Chemistry class (finally), so that's good news, too.

By the way, I'm naming the ducks Franz and Albert if they're both male. XD;; If they're female and male, it'll be Albert and Eugenie, and if they're both female, it'll be Eugenie and...something. I haven't decided on that yet. Maybe Valentine? Not sure on the pheasants at the moment... I'll have to think up a theme. At the moment I'm not naming anyone, though, due to gender switch-ups and the sad possibility that they could die. They're only about two days old, after all.
