Meh. Lazy.
Jul. 6th, 2006 10:30 pmToo lazy to write too much. I had a busy (?) day of taking care of my now-eight birds (four more arrived this morning), watching Law and Order, playing around a little with my new Deleter markers (and failing, but at least it was practice ._.;), reading Time magazine, being on teh interweb (not very much, though), and...er...eating miso soup.
Jacqui and Chip came over to check on the adult injured goldfinch I have and ID a mystery bird I obtained yesterday (thought for some odd reason to be a sparrow or a finch, though he doesn't look like either). We've deduced the goldfinch will probably survive now that his bleeding stopped, and he seems to be fairly happy because I stuck him in with four other birds in this nifty habitat I made out of two laundry baskets, perches, grass, dandelion leaves, and food and water dishes. I was immensely proud of myself for IDing the mystery bird as a wren, because that's what he turned out to be. He's very cute. :)
So, I now have my two blackbirds (who are very big and loud now), Mock-Mock the mockingbird (who I'm pretty sure I'm in love with), two goldfinches, a house sparrow, a red house finch, and a wren. Three big cages in my room at the moment. XD;
Well, I think I'm going to go wait for Mom to get home so I can eat something (there's virtually nothing in the house). I feel very sluggish.
I have a feeling it might be a little while before I even start the Pillows/AX report, because I just feel so lazy. ._.;
