Today was all right. It was a little more relaxing than usual because the birds are at Joy's, and she's watching them until tomorrow night after the ceremony for the creative writing contest. To be honest, though, while it's a lot less work without them, I miss the little guys. They're so cute and funny, and I've found that I get confused when I don't have to feed them every half-hour. XD;

Jasmine and I seem to have a new mini-tradition of hanging out in the middle room before school and being completely random. We yell about cheating on each other, we theorized about the microwave-spaceship-weird-thingy on the wall that my friends and I used to discuss constantly during freshmen year, and...we did other stuff I can't remember. It was rather amusing, however.

First period, I basically just listened to music, designed a character for my Pokémon plotbunny that won't leave me alone, and Mr. Baxter sent me on a few chores (namely, cutting paper and delivering papers to the attendance office). I kept wishing the period would be longer because I didn't want to go to Government and I wanted more time to sit and do nothing.

Second period, I...uh...took notes. Terribly exciting, as I'm sure you can imagine.

We played softball in PE. This isn't TOO bad because it's an easy sport to wriggle out of doing and just sitting around on the bench is not painful, but at the same time it's annoying because the field is so far from the locker room and the sun is hot. ._.; But when it comes to PE, I'm a complainer by nature, so don't mind me.

We talked about Fanime rooming situations pretty intensely during most of lunch. I can't say I particularly remember what I did in Art. It was...uh...something?

During English, we watched Senior Project presentations as usual. Courtney gave an interesting presentation on Ayurveda, Alina gave a below-par speech on knitting hats for cancer patients (she wasn't prepared for the speech), and Sarah and Rebecca gave the most incredible presentation on how they created a documentary about a thirteen-year-old boy with a really rare skin disorder, and it's so serious he's probably going to be dead by August. T_T They showed a six-minute clip of their documentary, and...it was seriously one of the most heartwrenching things I have EVER seen. I'm not exaggerating when I say within five minutes, more than three-quarters of the class was crying--even the guys. Hell, *I* was almost crying, but I managed to blink away any impending tears. It was...incredible. I can't even describe it.

Seventh period...well, I got a ride home with Makayla's parents, so we were only around during seventh period for about a half-hour. During that half-hour we watched Sean's music video again just for kicks, and talked about Senior Project.

While waiting for Makayla's mom to pick up Makayla, Kathryn, and I, we ended up in an arbitrary conversation with the security guard on the golf cart. Mainly about school stuff, college, and randomness.

So, I was dropped off...and I pretty much just worked on my AMV and all the other things I needed to work on. I finished my AMV. :D It still needs a small amount of work on the synching on a few scenes, but I showed my Dad and brother (who have seen a lot of AMVs, for the record) and they were impressed, so that made me happy. I think it turned out kind of decent... I mean, it's not professional or anything, but it makes me happy that I made it. It has some of my favorite scenes in it, and I like the combination of the song and the video a lot. I've been so busy--I've also been trying feverishly to burn the second Naruto movie for Anime Club tomorrow (seeing as I don't want to let them down again), but I've had a lot of difficulties with that. :/ I think I might have found a solution, but then again...maybe not.

The fact that I've been a little emotional and had some pretty uncomfortable cramps all day has made all the stuff I needed to get done a little harder, but I'm dealing. They're mostly gone by now, but...augh, I hate cramps. >.> I used to get NO cramps, and now I always get them semi-badly on the first day.

I'm going crazy here! I have a million and one things I want to do/need to do, but I simply don't have time to do all of them! Writing in this LiveJournal is a good example--I keep wanting to jot down my story ideas and post pictures of pets/birds/the art room/weird things, and I need to write my fanfics, and... This is crazy. XD;;

Well, it's almost bedtime and I still need to figure out how to burn that Naruto DVD.
