Well, the bird's first day at school was interesting... Mostly uneventful, but it had its moments.
Namely, first period was irritating. I was leaving the room briefly to deliver something for Mr. Baxter, so I told a group of freshmen boys not to touch the basket the bird's in. They, naturally, had to ask "Why? Why can't we see him? Blah blah blah blah blah" endless stupid questions. I decided to keep my cool for a while and answer their questions as logically as you can answer stupid questions, but after a while I was so pissed I just ignored them. When I did that, they eventually ran out of comments about exploding the bird and whether that was a good idea, and they proceeded to piss me off even more by making a series of racist and homophobic comments. They were even idealizing Hitler and trying to say that he wasn't really that bad. I was so mad--but I chose to keep my mouth shut, because--hey, there's no arguing with stupid people. They just make progressively less and less sense as the argument goes on.
Virtually the entire rest of the day, not much happened. A lot of people asked what I had in the basket, and I told them, but I only showed my good friends and/or people who were around when I fed him. I fed him during classes fairly seamlessly--the only class that it was troublesome in was PE. I was so distracted during tennis I didn't even bother trying to play. At all.
Anyway, not too exciting of a day. Not bad either, though.
I've spent the last several hours working on editing my AMV. I've found that Vegas 6.0 is an awesome editing program, though I haven't actually made any progress at all at this point. I've figured out most things I need to know, but I keep messing up with splicing the clips correctly, and it's all rather traumatic. @_@ Aaack.
...That's pretty much all there is to say. Wrote a nice, long, courteous e-mail to people about getting the old Pokémon voice actors and actresses back, and...stuff. That's all.
