Ugh. The majority of today was just...not great. The end of it was somewhat redeeming in a way, but for the most part, it just wasn't a good day.

In addition to getting up later than usual, Mom yelled at me in the car in the morning over finishing my Japanese courses, which is a really bad way for me to start the day. I'm the type of person who hates confrontation normally, and confrontation when I just wake up is just awful because then it sometimes affects the rest of my day. -_-; I asked her to please not yell at me in the morning, but she kept at it anyway. One of the definite disadvantages of having two Aries parents.

Anyway, first period was mostly okay... I started watching AMVs, but Mr. Baxter interrupted and had me do some cleaning for about twenty minutes. Then I went back to the AMVs. I was a little anti-social at this point, but also somewhat determined to turn the day around.

Government was rather boring. The student teacher in our class (whose name I cannot remember) seems to be running the class instead of Mr. Kreizenbeck. I'm not sure if this is a good or a bad thing. He seems like a nice enough guy, but as for his qualifications and speaking ability...they're a little sketchy. We also got our textbooks, which seriously feels like ten pounds have been added to my bag. I hope he doesn't make us carry the books all the time--more back pain is all I need.

PE was just fine. Tim and I were doing samurai-style badminton, which was very amusing. Especially when we went up against Ciera and her partner, who did the same thing. XD;; Tim and I still weren't playing at our best, though--we kept going up against the really annoying players who swat the birdies directly at your body or the ground. -_-; And we had to sit out about half the period because there are too many people and too few nets.

Lunch was amusing. Makayla married me--finally! Took her long enough. XD Chris had a squirt gun everyone was dodging, we went soap-opera like usual, and we laughed a lot. Fun stuff.

Art was nifty. More critiques. I took part in some of them. Mostly just listened and was fascinated. There were a lot of really nice pieces this time--I really liked them. I felt really sick during Art today for some reason, though. I decided it was probably cramps, but now I don't think it was and I just felt really, really icky. I have to decide what to do for my next project--which is a free project.

In English, we spent almost the whole period discussing "mystical" moments with animals. XD; Right up my alley. Anyway, we were supposed to get more done than we did, but this is a common occurrence with Mrs. Mclean.

Mr. Larsen was kind of mad at me during Anatomy for reading the newspaper during someone's PowerPoint project. Oops. I really felt bad about it when he brought it up, actually. Read most of the period. Felt kind of isolated and not all that great.

My emotions were running kind of high today. :/ Not just 'cause of Mom yelling at me, either--it was partly just that I had a lot on my mind again and I didn't feel particularly confident on the subject, either. I've always been an extremely (almost unnaturally) stable person emotionally, so all this yo-yo effect is really messing me up. I'm starting to feel like I need to do something about it again, but when this happens is a matter of my courage, I guess. Like I said, my confidence goes up and down randomly and based off very, very tiny things that are probably irrelevant anyway.

Anime Club was decent--although it took me a good ten minutes to set up the DVD player because of a really stupid little mistake I made. XD; We watched random AMVs, and people seemed to enjoy them. I think I've run out of Comedy videos to show them, though, which is basically all they have the patience for.

Afterwards, Steven, Makayla, and I were having a loud, amusing, and emphatic conversation regarding Evangelion and crying in anime. XD It was a cool conversation--too bad Mom picked me up early, because I would have liked to have continued it.

I basically just went home and vegetated, played with the guinea pigs, and took a shower. Oh, and wrote a letter to Lewis & Clark basically begging in a dignified manner for them to let me in. At least, I hope it's dignified... O_o;
