Dattebayo!
Sep. 21st, 2005 07:34 pmDarn, I wasn't able to finish Hikaru no Go last night because the disk KK gave me had some chapters missing, and I ended up taking a nap, and KK and I had a rather long phone conversation. Oh well, I just have to re-download the volumes I'm missing, and I'll only have a bit more to read left.
Today...was just fine.
Princess woke me up again at 5:30 AM, because she always starts meowing for no reason at 5:30 and refuses to stop. I don't know why... That cat baffles me sometimes.
I watched AMVs throughout all of art. Critiques were going on, so no one really took notice of me sitting in the corner watching AMVs. ^^; I felt sneaky. XD
Econ...was uneventful.
PE...HA, Mr. Humphers said he'd make us run a mile today, but for some reason he didn't. I was SO happy, you have no idea. I'm so lazy. :3 We couldn't play basketball in the West Gym because someone spilled juice on the floor just about everywhere, so we migrated to the Ali Gym and played there instead. We lost. As usual.
Lunch was fun and normal and I forget what we talked about. Zoe made a brilliant poster for the Anime Club involving a crossdressing man in a bikini with a flower in his hair and such. Apparently, he's from Hana-Kimi. XD This caused lots of laughter on our parts. Lots of hugs and exchanges of food and anime discussions and you know the drill...
Drawing and Painting was quieter than usual (as far as conversations go) because both Kathryn and Makayla were missing in action today. Zoe was trying to get me to change the music, but I didn't want to (because I always feel rude if I turn off someone else's music), and I grew to regret this. Someone else changed the music to loud, annoying rap with *really* bad lyrics. Zoe spent the rest of the period guilt-tripping me over it. XD
English was uneventful.
Going to Anatomy with Cody, KK, and Selah was fun. We ended up reading the Union (our local newspaper), and we were reading the police blotters aloud... Our county's police blotters have got to be the funniest things ever. Seriously. Some lady called the police office asking to talk to God. How brilliant is that? I can't remember the other ones, but they were beautiful, too. I also flipped through my doujinshi many times, while Selah watched and commented.
Anime Club was just fine. We finished Naruto the Movie, while I doodled and wrote in hiragana on the whiteboard for no reason. That's pretty much it...
I went to the dentist after school. >< It wasn't that bad, though--they were going to polish my teeth with that nasty sand-stuff, but I resisted and got away without it. They said I didn't need it anyway.
Um... That's pretty much my day. It hasn't been very exciting, but it was good nonetheless.
I posted my fanfic on the SasuNaru community (sasuxnaru)... I'm now feeling the typical post-posting lack of confidence... So...uh, it's kind of scary waiting for reviews. ;_;
Tomorrow is Shikamaru's birthday! At the least, I want to print "Happy birthday, Shikamaru!" posters and put them around the school, and I'm hoping to maybe have a cloud-watching party, if Dad will let me. He might not. ;_; I feel like I should do more for dear Shika-kun, but I guess I'll have to settle for that.
