After a long day of waiting and being frustrated and not being able to get ahold of my Dad on his cell phone, we did indeed throw a beautiful fangirl party. XD

KK, Nicole, Makayla, and Chris (for some of the time--poor guy. At least he didn't spend the night.) came over, and we basically...uh...fangirled. O_o;; We watched Yami no Matsuei for a while, oogling and having fun (though, admittedly I was slightly lost, as we watched 10-13, and I haven't seen the episodes before that), and eventually took a break to make ramen and sing Dragonstea Din Tei. During that break I got in a fight with my Dad's DVD player, and we looked at really cute HikaAki fanart. ♥

After we finished Yami no Matsuei, we...uh...I don't remember. I do know that Cody called from Canada, and...poor boy. ^^;; We got all the phones in the house so we could ALL talk to him, and it ended up very loud and chaotic. He was hard to hear over everyone else, so we weren't really able to hear when he left and continued babbling for about five minutes after he left. ^^;;

KK and I did the traditional OMG-go-through-alllllll-Kristin's-saved-fanart, and that was fun and rather long. ^_^ I need more Naruto fanart...as always. I'm addicted, I tell you.

Nicole and KK were enacting shoujo-ai soap operas again (with my occasional input), there was a long period of time where we were talking about masticating wenises (apparently the skin on your elbow, by the way, for those who were thinking dirty thoughts). ...Bizarre, to say the least. We're such weirdos.

We looked through some of my doujinshi and tried to interpret what was going on, watched a few AMVs, and ended up staying up talking and laughing hysterically until about 4 AM.

I completely lost it this time. XD I started talking about my fascination with the way birds (chickens, in particular) breathe, and this...was weird. XD;; I kept trying to explain to Makayla what it is exactly that's so funny about chickens panting with their mouths open, and then I was talking about how cool it'd be if an ostrich ran by with its mouth open. And then I was talking about rooster's dewlaps, paper cranes, back to panting chickens. This topic, much to Makayla's confusion, lasted about two hours. ...You had to be there. I laughed so hard I cried and couldn't stop for a long time.

Then we were talking about how, if you mix the words "ostrich" and "sausage", you get "sasutrich" which reminded us of Sasuke, and then we started talking about SasuNaru. A bit...graphically. o_o

I don't even remember what else we talked about... All I know is that our topics were *SO* weird. As weird or weirder than the ones I described. This is why you should never give us drugs. If we're like this when we're normal (just slightly sleep-deprived) I don't even want to imagine what would happen. O_o;

Nicole and KK both left while Makayla and I were still semi-sleeping, and Makayla had to leave when I had to go to finish my Health course at school at 10 AM. I went there, seriously confused because of lack of sleep (I'd approximate that I got three or four hours of broken sleep), and turned in the last of my homework. My teacher and I talked about rabbits for a little while (WTF), and then she let me out early. So, Dad was supposed to pick me up about forty minutes after that, so I sat in a walkway in some shade and watched AMVs.

Lots of people asked what I was watching, and most said "Cool!" when I told them, but one guy came past and was declaring "Heyyy, it's that Chinese porn stuff!" so that made me angry. ¬_¬

So... That's been it so far. Fangirl party was fun. I'm sleep-deprived, but feeling fine right now. I'll probably crash in several hours.

Dad says we get to go to Roseville! *Bounce* That makes me happy.

I need to go take a shower, save some LiveJournal icons, and hunt down some good Roy-related fanart for Ciera.

Today rocked.

I mean, yes, I've barely gotten any sleep at all in the last twenty-four hours, but I feel perfectly fine and awake, and once I get a good nine or ten hours of sleep, I know I'll be all right.

Dad and I drove down to Roseville shortly after my last entry. Other than the fact that we listened to anime music the whole way, this wasn't all that exciting. We went to the giant Wal Mart and bought a bunch of stuff for our camping trip, and I got a new CD case because my collection outgrew the old one (again). Then we went to Costco quickly, I ran around and ate some free samples, got some pizza and a tropical smoothie.

That was pretty much all that happened on that trip.

When we got back, the street fair was going to start, so Dad dropped me off downtown on his way to the river. I was about twenty or thirty minutes early, so I went and mailed a letter Dad wanted me to send, and then I was wandering about, randomly popping in and out of stores to escape the heat.

I went in Gray Goose, and actually started talking to the lady who worked there about Wolf's Rain (as a result of me wearing my Wolf's Rain shirt). ♥ She's never actually seen it, but her son is apparently really into anime, so I was babbling on about how much I love Wolf's Rain and she said she wanted to check it out. 'Twas wonderful!

I went by Mekka and Confectionary Mine several times, checking for people, and when I found no one, I went to the bookstore. As I was wandering the aisles, I came across one of the guys who was in the Anime Club. He starting asking me a few Naruto-related questions, and as we were talking, Nicole appeared from behind the next bookshelf, which was (apparently) where she had been sitting and reading. XD;; Go figure we'd find each other unintentionally. She was gripping some sort of a New Age book and talking about how much she wanted it.

We relocated to another spot in the bookstore (in front of a fan, which we concluded was a sexy fan), and started looking at random books. Books on gay parenting (which sparked the old discussion of "Could Naruto get pregnant in his Sexy no Jutsu body, keep that body for nine months, and actually give birth to a baby? Sasuke's baby?" (which I find creepy personally)), a [fairly] badly illustrated wolf book for children, a book on how teenagers suck basically, and other such randomness.

When we decided we were done, we headed off to Confectionary Mine, where we located most of the rest of our gang. ^^ We all sat in a circle around a table in the corner of the candy store. Nicole described (quite humorously, might I add) the book she was reading, so we laughed about that and what would happen if our group of friends became vampires (we wouldn't turn Mr. Baxter into a vampire, we concluded). We felt that we were somewhat unwelcome in Confectionary Mine, though, as we are a big, fairly loud group and we weren't buying anything, so we relocated to Mekka.

Mekka smelled weird today. Mostly all we talked about in Mekka was...weird stuff that I can't describe, and eventually Nollin showed up to join our ranks. Nollin and Nicole went in a restaurant and got burritos, asking us to wait for them. Well, in short we did, but Nicole thought we left, so we were there for a while. It was humorous. XD Meanwhile, we watched the famous dancing man.

For those who don't live in Nevada City or Grass Valley, the dancing man is this elderly man (probably about seventy, I'd guess) who goes to ALL the street fairs and dances (by leaping sprightly about in circles and such) to ALL the music, regardless of what type of music it is. He's so cool. A few people were dancing with him this time. We were also watching this group of boys who were all walking exactly the same and in unison, without realizing it. XD;;

We went to Fred's for dinner. Chris did an awesome job of approximating the budget and such, so we ordered a bunch of food (even though most of us were broke) and ended up having a good meal. I just ate rice and an eggroll, seeing as most of the food was not vegetarian, but I only paid two or three dollars anyway, so...yeah. ^^;; I wasn't too hungry. We decided the empty seat at our table was occupied by Howl, and Nollin and Nicole proceeded to argue over who owned Howl. XD It was funny hearing Nollin talk about how much he wanted Howl. XD;; I stole Howl's water, but he didn't seem to mind. Of course, we did the usual tradition of putting "in bed" at the end of all of our fortunes and cracking up about it. Mine said something about making a bunch of money. :D Heh, I hope so.

Everyone kept bringing up the whole birds breathing thing from last night, so now Nicole is convinced I have a creepy fetish or something with birds. XD Which I don't. I just think it's cool how they breathe. It looks wonderful and makes me happy.

We finished our food, and gathered on a street corner. Everyone waited there for a few minutes while I went and fetched a coconut ice thing. I shared with everyone, of course. Then, for some reason, we decided to pile up in Nollin's truck and go to Makayla's house. Nollin's truck only fits three people, and we had six, so we improvised by having half of us ride in the front, and the other half sit in the back of the truck flat-out so the police couldn't see them. Nollin kept going really fast to throw them off. ^^;

So, at Makayla's house we sat around and some people made coffee. We discussed going down to the creek, but in the end we didn't. Instead, we stood outside and read some hilarious books out loud about the negative aspects of astrological signs. They were so true. XD

As we were doing this--and I'm getting to the best part of the story--one of us screeched (I forget who it was) and pointed at Makayla's neighbor's yard. "Is that a person staring at us?!" Well, it was actually the head of a manikin, complete with hair and everything, situated on a log (or something).

This is when the brilliant idea struck.

I don't know who came up with it, but the point was, it was beautiful.

Kathryn ran towards the manikin head and plucked it off its perch, running back towards Nollin's truck. Makayla darted into her house to get the duct tape.

We debated for a while over where exactly we should put it on the truck, but in the end we decided the funniest place was on the very top, where it could easily be seen by all.

Meanwhile, the guy who owned the manikin head discovered that we had the manikin head, but he seemed like a nice guy and said we could use it as long as we wanted, just as long as it came back unharmed.

So, Nollin secured the manikin head on top of the truck, and we went off on tours around Nevada City to watch people's expressions at the 'headmobile'. I was on the first tour (we had to take turns because there were only two seats, other than Nollin, open), and Kathryn and I just laughed and laughed and couldn't stop at the people's reactions.

People laughed, pointed, did double-takes, looked disgusted, were confused, tried not to smile, tried to ignore it, and overall it was just the funniest thing EVER. XD;; I love insane social experiments like that. I really, really do.

When all the tours were done, we all decided to go to my house. Again, we fit all of us into Nollin's truck and headed towards my house, which really is close to Makayla's house anyway.

We basically just went in my room and played N64, read doujinshi, and listened to music. A Super Smash Bros. tournament started (after a silly bout of attempting to play the 007 game), but Gamecube was lamented. I remedied this by pointing out the simple fact that there was a Gamecube in my brother's room, so that was where we migrated.

Unfortunately, the second controller was missing for unknown reasons, so we just watched whoever was the current 1 Player and were amused. Eventually, everyone left, but at that point it was almost 11 PM.

It was just such a cool day. And headmobile was one of the funnier experiences I can think of...

I should go to bed soon. I've seriously gotten almost no sleep (although I feel fine now), so I'd better let my body rest. Oyasumi, minna!
