I've been so busy doing nothing in particular that I didn't post yesterday. OMG.
Well, the night before last was the Bon Voyage concert for the people in the choir who are going to Europe. KK and I went (but Nicole forgot about it), and it was fun. We were both still sleep deprived, and therefore a little confused and random. XD We met Rae there, and then the three of us shounen-ai fangirl-ed. I have done so few things over the past few days that did NOT include shounen-ai.
Yesterday, I did a lot of mp3 downloading and made a new CD, and re-burned the CD I made the other day with a better version of Nightwish's Nemo (my other mp3 was fuzzy and didn't sound good). It turned out to be the most random CD ever-- Naruto, Ayumi Hamasaki, The Pillows, Rurouni Kenshin, L'Arc~En~Ciel, Do As Infinity, O-Zone, and Inuyasha. Erk. Turned out good, though.
I also downloaded some AMVs and such... When I was in the middle of my nothingness last evening, Cody showed up and we ended up watching Naruto. I thought we were only going to watch a few episodes, but...um...we ended up watching 20-30, which is 11 episodes. Nicole showed up partway through, but left again because Nollin was taking her to some music thing. She said she was going to return and spend the night (but she never did). By the time we finished Naruto, it was 9:40 PM and Cody had to leave.
Then I was up late drawing some serious SasuNaru (mmm...kiss. Tongue involved. OMG. Kristin's lost it.) and having a wonderful time doing this. I was convinced it was a godlike drawing, but now that I've looked at it again, it has some things that need to be fixed. -_-
I meant to go to sleep after that, because it was about midnight, but I got distracted by a SasuNaru fanfic I'm going to write. It's going to be really serious and sad and messed up. I need a title for it... Something symbolic of losing purpose. So, I fell asleep at...probably 1 or 2 AM.
To be awoken at 8:30 AM by KK jumping on me. x_X Eeek! No, actually it was funny. XD We spent almost all of today going on walks and looking at the SAME SasuNaru pictures OVER AND OVER AND OVER. My brother was amused/disturbed because, in his words, "You guys have looked at those same pictures four times through already, and you still squeal like it's the first time every time!" He kept asking about what seme and uke are, too. x.x It was KK's birthday. ^_^ *Throws confetti!* Happy birthday, KK-chan!
KK left at around 1 PM. Nicole came and visited briefly, but then left again, and Cody and Jocelyn (a younger friend of ours) came over. We ended up watching Naruto...again, and now Cody's up to episode 37. Hitchi, you'd better get watching so you can even kind of catch up! I'll have to send you more once you finish what I gave you. XD Poor Jocelyn was confused because not only could she not keep up with the subtitles, she had never seen Naruto in her life. XD Oops.
At some point, Nicole came back and Cody drove us over to her house. We had an extended goodbye to Cody, believing this would be the last time we saw him before he left for Spain (for almost a month...Eep! Sadness ;_;). Wahhh. We talked to him on the phone about a half hour later, and I saw him again, but that's beside the point.
Nicole, Jocelyn, and I sat on Nicole's trampoline and had some very amusing conversations. Nicole and I basically confused the heck out of Jocelyn--we started talking about whether or not the Lorax is God/a multi-million dollar lawyer, whether or not he invented skirts and Shikamaru, dangly earrings, and burst into song (usually disturbing songs) frequently. Then we were talking about starting a nonsense advice column, and saying that in order to get someone to stop stalking you, you should play the Stalker Song (AKA Every Breath You Take) and stare at your stalker until they get confused and go away. There was a lot more, but I can't remember. I know it degenerated into Nicole and I acting like Pikachu and Togepi.
Jocelyn's mom eventually picked her up, and Nicole and I continued sitting on the trampoline and talking. We decided one of Nicole's trees in her yard looks like the type of tree you'd see in a Japanese fanart, and then concluded it should have a bishounen in it. This reminds me--when KK and I were seriously sleep-deprived, one of the trees outside of my window at my Dad's looked EXACTLY like the tree in the first Naruto opening that Sasuke's standing on. O_O Complete with shading and everything.
Anyway, Nicole and I watched AMVs for a while (everyone else has become obsessed with E Nomine, too, which is weird because we all got into them separately within a day or two of each other), Nollin came over, I installed Bittorrent on Nicole's computer, and then left. Cody came by and dropped off some CD-Rs (I burned him a bunch of CDs yesterday), his tablet, and a recorder so I can record Maaya Sakamoto's concert. If I can, I'll try to post some of the files here. :)
Now I'm just stashing more mass amounts of Naruto fanart from Japanese websites. So...yeah.
