Foxes and apocalypses and... *Babbles*
May. 23rd, 2005 07:29 pmWell, I just finished that darn fox story I've been working on for at least a week. @_@ I can't say I'm exactly proud of it (I think the concept was much better than the execution), but I'm glad I finished it at least. That's one thing to take off the "STRESS!"-list.
Now I'm burning the first twenty episodes of Naruto (and the theme songs, which were cut out of the episodes themselves) for Hitchi-chan. I'll hopefully burn some for KK, too, and... Man, I'm running out of DVD-Rs. @_@ I'll have to go buy some more.
Grrr. I'm also browsing BMGf, and it's being remarkably slow today. Server troubles or something...? I know it's not my DSL.
Um...what happened today?
First period...NOTHING. At least nothing I can remember. @_@ Rae was babbling about exploding with happiness because Thomas got her roses for Senior Ball, and I just sort of looked at her in an unsympathetic manner about that. I was shounen-ai obsessed (even more so than usual), and...uh...I think that's all that happened. I can't really remember what Mrs. McDaniel had us doing.
US History...continued that Nuremburg movie we've been watching. We're almost done with it. It's an okay movie, though the pacing is just weird and I don't understand what's up with the romance scenes between the main character and his wife. They have nothing to do with anything, and the people are already married so it fails to accomplish anything at all in the plot. ><
In Anatomy, we just took notes. Erin and I schemed evilly. More on that in lunch.
OMG, TA period was so funny! They were selling yearbooks in the Student Store, and it was CHAOS. In order to get this done, we had to close down every other function of the Student Store, and people were only allowed to come in through one of the doors (there are two). Angela and I were posted at 'Out' door, and we basically spent the entire period yelling at people to not enter that way. Even after we posted signs ON the freakin' door, they still didn't get it. Bakana! We really did have to yell at them in order for them to get it, too.
Me: "NO ENTERING THIS WAY."
Them: "But I'm trying to--!"
Me: "NO! No other business is being conducting this lunchtime!"
Them: "Well, when can I get [insert random thing they needed]!"
Me: "Sorry, NOT my problem! Now leave!"
I felt terrible being so mean about it, but I had to pound the concept into their brains in order for them to listen, and I had to repeat this at least a hundred times. It was like a stampede was trying to get in. @_@ Angela and I were pretty amused by our new positions of power. XD We kept talking about how we should have squirt guns or plastic scythes or something to ward off the masses.
During lunch, Erin, Makayla, and I were talking about...interesting...topics. XD First, a little sentence of backstory: Erin hates Roya and vice-versa. While I don't personally hate Roya, I like playing weird pranks on Roya because it's funny when she freaks out.
Anyway, Roya's obsessed with Kakashi, so we were talking about secretly sending Erin to Fanime before anyone else got there. When she arrived, she would go to every doujinshi booth she could find, and purchase every doujinshi with Kakashi in it. Then she would go to Roya's hotel room, sit on one of the beds, spread out all the naughty doujinshi on the bed, and sit in the middle of the pile and read one while making noises. After that, the plan was simple: Watch Roya's horrifed expression. XD
I admitted to Makayla and such that I was scheming on possibly going to the Yaoi Bingo. I thought Makayla was going to reprimand me over it, or roll her eyes or something, but instead she was like, "YAY! I'm coming with you!" Then I said something to the effect of "Well...uh...I'm not sure if I'm actually going, I just thought it'd be funny..." and she insisted that we should go. XD So, um, I guess we're going. I suppose... @_@ Wait'll Nicole finds this out. XD;; She can't come, though, because she's not 17. Anyway, we'll see about that one...
Trig was...like it always is. The room was too hot, though, which made me and everyone else sleepy. I haven't mentioned the weather yet, have I? It's gone from about 50 degrees last week to 89 this past weekend. x.x Mr. Harter didn't give us time to do our homework in class today, so I'm going to have to go do it when I finish this entry.
We had more demonstration speeches in English. The first one was Chris Selbie, and he did--get this--using katanas! O_O He actually brought a katana to school (with administration permission, of course), and was wearing traditional samurai garb and everything. My mind was just going "KENSHINKENSHINKENSHINKENSHIN!" the whole time. He is an anime fan (though I'm not sure how much of an anime fan), so I'm going to have to ask him if he's seen any Kenshin at all. I'm fairly sure he has. If not, he better. XD
Then one of the girls in the class did...UGH...how to change a diaper. *Makes various unpleasant faces* Luckily, she just did it on a doll, but she brought balloons and handed out diapers and wipes for everyone to follow along with. I refused. XD I blew up my balloon and drew a Marill on it and refused to put a diaper on it. Not like anyone cared, but I was busy feeling homicidal about infants, as I usually am. I kept going on to Melissa about how I would have nightmares about this for the rest of my life. XD
We finished speeches early today, so Mr. Cartan handed out paper clips and we had to bend the paper clips and write a description of what our paper clip symbolizes. Mine is a great blue heron. XD Not that it actually looks like a great blue heron, but I have a good imagination.
Then I went home and such, and now here I am.
Better be going, I have more homework and things to do!
