Ohhh, it's so beautiful right now! It's sort of a thunderstorm-style rain, where it comes down in a beautiful, straightforward way but it's not cold, and it sort of seems pouty. If that makes sense to anyone. It was just sunset, and the clouds were muted colors (some the color of a mourning dove, some the color of orange creme, some a light, floral pink) and...Mew, it was beautiful. More on that later.

I had another weird dream last night. Even weirder than the night before. @_@ I'll LJ-cut it, as it is rather long.

Weirdo dream )

Today...was okay. ^^

In Creative Writing, I wrote that dream down so I wouldn't forget it, and we continued doing that project we were working on yesterday about ourselves. Rae and I kept putting stuff about shounen-ai in our projects, and one of our assignments was to write twenty random questions. That was fun. >D

USHistory...we continued Grapes of Wrath. Stupid worksheets. ><

At lunch, I again talked to Cody, Selah, and KK. Cody was wearing this random anime-ish shirt that he found in his magical closet (I don't think I've written about the magical closet in here yet... Anime costumes tend to appear for no apparent reason in it. XD), and I kept hugging him. KK and I have become somewhat obsessed (in a secretive way) with Naruto shounen-ai--I mean...uh... Something. Yeah, something. ^^;; Naw, I'm just kidding anyway. We're not obsessed at all.

In Trig, we took our standardized testing. It was absolutely thrilling, with the filling in bubbles and all. >< I finished fairly quickly, so I spent the rest of the period working on my English final and listening to Naruto OST 3 (which I LOVE) repeatedly.

English, we got in a big debate about the qualities of a leader, which turned into the definition of justice, which turned into "How can humans ignore the injustices that go on in the world?!" which turned into whether civil disobedience works or not. ^^;; It's nice having a smart English class, because there are lots of intelligent debates.

Dad and I drove around a lot today, picking Ryan up and taking him to the orthodontist and visiting Mom at the hospital. Dad was diggin' Naruto OST 3, and was dancing and making sound effects and everything (which is what he does in the car when he likes music). XD; Mom's even better today than she was yesterday, and they took all the IVs and tubes out. She's coming home tomorrow.

We went by Mom's for a little while so I could check on the doves. I held Claus for a little while and fed the chickens, and then we left.

On the way back to Dad's was when the weather changed and was so, so beautiful. The sunset started and it began to rain beautifully. I turned my head and was looking behind me, and thinking about how if that was an anime, it would be such a cool scene, watching the slick road rush past with the sunset reflecting in it, and all the muted colors of the clouds. We were listening to the song "The Promise of You", which has a lot of sentimental value that started before Pokémon: The First Movie came out and we changed a mere one word to change the song into what is perfect inspiration for a Pokémon fanfic or an AMV or something. It's probably just me, but I interpret it as the story of a Pokémon trainer (or, even more specific, Miyamoto) searching for Mew. Here, I'll post the lyrics. All that needs changing is the word 'you' into 'Mew', and you've got it.

The Promise of Mew? )

Oh! And Ryan and I watched Naruto 110. Wow, I love it. It had lots of Shikamaru in it, and the whole thing with Naruto's promise to poor Sakura was so sweet. ;_; And I'm so glad Lee's okay! It was just a wonderful, wonderful episode. I'm lovin' it so much. ^^

I'd better be going. Ja ne!
