It was Naruto's fault again that I didn't write last night. Ryan and I watched about 6+ hours of it, and thus by the time we were done I didn't exactly feel like typing. I've officially screwed up my brother. He's as far on Naruto as I am (episode 90), and in the middle of one the episodes, he left.

At first, I was like, "Hey, Ryan...what're you doing? You're missing Naruto!" So I paused it for him, but he wouldn't tell me what he was doing.

About fifteen minutes later, he comes in with his arms wrapped in white tape, trying to emulate Lee-san. XD;; He was so jealous when Gai-sensei gave Naruto the green spandex. Ryan wants to cosplay as Lee... ^^;; I don't know if it would work it, but it's the thought that counts. (Though Ryan in green spandex is a frightening thought...)

Today was lots of fun.

I woke up at about 8:30 AM, thinking "OMG, I'm going to miss Pokémon if I don't get up soon!" so I jumped out of bed, raced into the living room, put the guide on, and remembered it was Friday as a result of Maury being on instead. I stalked back to bed at that point and felt stupid. I got up about fifteen minutes later, though.

I took care of the chickens (put hay on the ground over the mud and fed them), and then we went to drop Ryan off at Jake's/drop me off at Mekka at noon.

I got to Mekka at literally the same time as Nicole, and then we went and found Makayla already in Mekka. Kathryn showed up not too much later, and after that we waited for a long time for other people to show up, but they didn't for a long time. Meanwhile, we read the comics in the newspaper, and found a disturbing ad that had people growing amongst flowers. I tore it out of the magazine it was in and had Makayla take it so we can put it up on the bulletin board in the middle room.

Then we went into Gray Goose (an awesome insane-items store across from Mekka) and spent what must have been over an hour in there, just playing with the funny things we found. While we were in there, Ciera, KC, Rachel, and Cody showed up, making eight of us. We continued browsing for a while, and then decided to go out to lunch at our old haunt, Fred's. Fred's is an excellent little Chinese restaurant we used to go to at least once a week, but one of the waitresses didn't like us and said we couldn't come any more. ;_;

We didn't have any trouble this time, though. Nicole was on Rachel's cellphone with Nollin (I have NO idea if I spelled that right... ><) for about twenty minutes, so we were all waiting for her to get off. Finally, we just got a table and waited for her at the table. Cody-kun decided he wasn't hungry and wanted to take a shower at home, so he went back to his house and we decided we'd meet him at his house later.

Nicole had no money, so we all just ordered a little more and she ended up with plenty of food. I had vegetable chow mein, eggrolls, and rice, and it was very good. ^^ My fortune reads thus (and makes very little sense): "A nice cake is waiting for you." Which is a LIE except that it's Dad's birthday, and there might be one in the freezer but I'm not going to check. We continued our disturbing little tradition of adding "in bed" at the end of all of our fortunes and laughed at the results.

At that point, the seven of us girls had to get to Cody's house, and we only had one car (KC's). Her car is a little tiny red one, but we managed to fit all seven of us by having KC in the driver's seat (obviously), Makayla in the front seat, Nicole lying on the floor in the back, me, Ciera, and Kathryn sitting in back, and Rachel lying over the three of us. XD It was automatically dubbed a "LiveJournal moment" and we giggled the entire way, especially when we passed an oblivious cop.

At Cody's, Cody was just getting out of the shower, so we all sat in his room and I showed off some of the AMVs I had found to everyone. With the exception of Nicole and Makayla (and Kathryn in some cases), none of them had seen any of my AMV collection, so they were in hysterics. We watched several of the classic AMVs to great effect, and sang along to many of them. ^^ This took up about an hour.

So, then we split into two cars (Cody, Kathryn, Nicole, and I in one car; KC, Makayla, Rachel, and Ciera in the other), and we all decided to go to Albertson's because everyone (myself excepted) wanted Starbuck's coffee.

Nicole wanted to go by her house first, though, so she could drop off her Ryvius DVD and get a gift certificate she had for Starbuck's. Cody, meanwhile, (after filling up his car at the nearby gas station) started jumping on the trampoline and we had trouble getting him off of it. XD

As a result, we were a little late for Albertson's, but oh well. We located our other four friends in the sunglasses isle. Nearby, in the pet food isle, someone had spilled cat food, so we tried to talk Rachel into eating it. XD It didn't work.

Next, Rachel and I held an unspoken competition in the back of the Starbuck's section of Albertson's to see who could find a magazine that was most contrary to our personalities. (Example: "Men's Health", "Interior Design", "Style") Cody read a National Geographic, and we found little horoscope things and had a great time reading them aloud to each other. Kathryn was reading Cody's (also hers, because they're both Virgos), which was talking about how a Virgo's ideal love match is a Pisces, so Nicole and I kept saying how much we loved Cody, and he was kind of ignoring us (absorbed in the magazine), and so we were hugging him.

Ciera randomly decided she wanted to go somewhere rural, so the group went, "Let's go to Empire Mine!" and they all took off. Cody didn't really want to go, Makayla wanted to go home, and Nicole wasn't sure if she wanted to go (and I was entirely indifferent), so we went to drop Makayla off at the Miner's Foundary, where an art display thing was going on. We ended up going into the art display (it was NU students' art, therefore we know more than half of the artists), and we spent a long time looking at the art.

When we had been there for maybe...ten minutes, when the other half of our group showed up because they decided not to go to Empire Mine after all. We continued browsing the artwork, enjoying it.

My favorite piece was this gorgeous photograph of a field of striking golden wheat (you could see every detail of every stalk), and the field went on for miles and miles, over hills and everything. Above the almost blinding golden field was dark gray clouds, and it was just such a contrast that it was one of the prettier things I've seen. *_* You'd have to see it to understand.

We heard a car alarm going off outside, but we ignored it for a while until Kathryn came running in and said, "Cody, I set your car alarm off..." ^^;; She reached into the open window of his car to try to get her sweatshirt, and she set the alarm off. Cody (and everyone else, for that matter) ran outside and turned the alarm off, and we ended up hanging out in the parking lot for the next half-hour or so.

We discussed German crane instructions and other weirdness, while Cody got in his car and pretended to run us all over. Of course, at some point I hopped in the car so he couldn't fake run me over, but then he claimed he could kidnap me, but I said I didn't care. He continued running people over.

He wanted to go home, and I didn't really feel like staying much longer either, so I went to his house with him, where we...uhhh...did absolutely nothing in particular. XD We did a little drawing (I drew a cute Pichu with goggles on his head and a scarf around his neck, among many other things), Cody played his online RPG a lot, we listened to music, and sat around talking about nothing specific. Cody's mom made us tortellinis for dinner, and we ate those while a show about hurricanes was on in the other room, and shortly after that Cody gave me a ride home.

So...that was my day. It was fun. ^_^ I hope to spend tomorrow with my friends, too, because after that I'll be off to San Diego for six days and I'm going to miss them so much. ;_;

I have to remember I promised Cody he could borrow a ton of my anime while I'm gone so he has something to do over break (he has nothing planned other than tennis with Thomas). I'll have to get that to him tomorrow...

I am currently obsessed with getting the Naruto fighting game I saw at Anime Overdose for PS2. Obsessed. Does anyone here know if you can play a Japanese imported game on a normal US PS2? If so, I'm going to buy one on Ebay soon.

Well, if you don't hear from me tomorrow, don't expect to hear from me for a week. We're leaving for San Diego on Sunday and won't be back 'til Ryuichi's birthday (April 1st). I might get time to write tomorrow, though, and maybe even on Sunday.

Happy Easter everyone! I was wearing bunny ears earlier, but one of the ears broke and is sagging now, so I left them at Cody's house. Good thing I have about twenty more pairs. >D

Excuse any errors--this was typed fast and while browsing Ebay. Oyasumi! I need some sleep now...
